Prince Charles And Prince William Are “Concerned” About Prince Harry

On Sunday, ITV dropped their documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, which was about Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan, and Archie’s official royal tour of Africa. But what we’re hearing about most from it is that Harry and Meghan would love for the British press to – pardon my lower-class vernacular – fuck 100% off. Meghan let it be known that she wasn’t ok with the constant scrutiny and criticism, that she felt like they were “existing, not living,” and claimed that her British friend warned her not to marry Harry because the British press would eat her alive. Harry lamented that he doesn’t like seeing the press pick apart Meghan in the same way they came for his late mother, Princess Diana, and mentioned that he and Meghan would love to move somewhere like South Africa. He also let the confirmation cat out of the bag by saying his relationship with his brother wasn’t great at the moment. And now sources are saying that his brother and father are a little worried about him.

It’s been said that Queen Elizabeth’s royal mantra is “Never Complain, Never Explain.” And clearly Harry and Meghan don’t follow that line of thinking, because here they are complaining about the press and explaining why they don’t love being the press’s favorite royal punching bags. That kind of deviation from the family’s favorite tried and true emotion-suppression method has Prince Charles and Prince William worried. A source tells Us Weekly that William is watching this all unfold, and is pretty bummed out that he can’t help his brother through it.

“William is extremely concerned about Harry and Meghan. Even though the brothers have grown apart, William still cares about Harry and is hoping that he’ll open up to him about his current struggles. William wants to be there for Harry and hates seeing him in such a bad place. Despite their differences, blood is thicker than water.”

To be fair, it might be difficult to open up to the person who made you leave your office and apartment keys to security on your way out. Maybe William and Harry could tag along the next time Duchess Kate and Meghan get together to bond over babies. Or is that friendship a lie too?!? You know someone at Kensington Palace is quickly reserving two tickets to an upcoming polo match.

But while I’m joking about all of this, Us Weekly’s source implies that it’s most certainly no laughing matter. They add that William is “terrified” of where Harry might be headed, because Harry “went through hell” after the death of their mother 22 years ago. Harry has also made it no secret that he has struggled with his mental health since.

The insider adds: “Harry’s a very sensitive guy, and Charles is worried, too. This is a time when Harry needs his family the most.”

After Harry and Meghan’s documentary aired on Sunday, there were some reports that William was “furious” that his brother would drag him into it and air out their drama. The Evening Standard reported that a royal aid was pissed that it seemed like the timing of Harry and Meghan’s documentary deliberately overshadowed William and Kate’s visit to Pakistan. But a source tells BBC News that none of that is true, and that William is concerned, not furious.

Another source tells Insider that Prince Charles has reached out to Meghan several times, and that they “get on.” That same source also claims that The Queen has invited Harry and Meghan to Balmoral, where “family problems are usually aired.” I always just assumed that it was boring ol’ time at Balmoral, where the most excitement was a game of Hide Granny’s Wellies. But apparently it’s where they let loose and get mad while The Queen acts as a Jerry Springer-like moderator. Oh, to be a dorgi on the drawing room floor when that all goes down. I need to know who has thrown a chair and screamed, “You don’t know me!” while Camilla gleefully cheers from the audience.
