In an Ellen episode that airs tomorrow, Mel B was on to promote her upcoming memoir Brutally Honest. But the conversation turned to the news from The Sun that she’s checking into a British rehab center next month. Even though The Sun’s source was Mel B herself, she says that the information got a little twisted, and she’d like to clarify why she’s actually going to rehab.
The Spice Girls Will Likely Reunite Without Posh Spice
Well, someone sure is a liar, liar, spice pants on fire. Not to knock a chick while she’s down, but Mel B has insisted the Spice Girls were reuniting for a tour WITH Victoria Beckham. There’s been about as many “Will they?” or “Won’t they?” stories about the Spices that it’s hard to keep track, but it did seem like Posh was focused more on fashion (and keeping her man away from the elementary school teacher’s lounge) than lip-synching to “Wannabe.” It now sounds like she’s getting the last zig-a-zig-ahh because there’s a report that the show will go on – Posh-less.

Since it was such a headache, it seemed inevitable to me that Mel B would pack her bags and take some me-time away from it all. With all the allegations of spousal abuse surrounding Stephen, you’d think he’d be lucky to leave that marriage without an angry mob of Spice Girls fans chasing him down the street, throwing Buffalo platforms at his head. Instead, Stephen will walk away with $20,000 every month.
