Kroy Biermann Claims His Kids Need Protection From Kim Zolciak’s Alleged “Abusive” Behavior

Ever since Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann of Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy announced that they’re calling it quits after 11 years of marriage, their split has seemingly hit almost every bullet point going down the Tumultuous Divorce List. They’ve gotten into a custody battle, the cops were called, and drug tests and psychiatric evaluations were demanded. And now they’re checking off alleged abuse- which Kroy’s claiming he’s the subject of in filed court docs where he asks the judge to assign his and Kim’s minor children with two guardian ad litems. A guardian ad litem is a person appointed by a court to protect the interests of a child by investigating the child’s situation and then reporting back to the judge to help decide stuff like custody and visitation. So apparently, things have reached a boiling point at the Biermann/Zolciak household, and Kim has “little concern” about exposing the kids to the alleged abuse.

Recently, Kroy claimed Kim got physical with him by punching him in the back of his head the day before they filed for divorce. A police report says Kroy showed the cops a recording of the scuffle but then decided not to press charges. Since Kim and Kroy still living under the same roof is quickly escalating into a World Star video, Kroy says he’s concerned about the children’s well-being via Page Six:

The retired NFL player filed new court documents, obtained by Page Six, and in them he claims the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum has been “abusive” toward him with “little concern if the children are present.”

He further states that he fears his estranged wife, who is set to make a cameo in the Bravo series, will use the show to discuss her divorce and expose the children to behavior that is not beneficial for their “mental health and wellbeing.”

As a result, Biermann officially requested the court appoint a guardian ad litem for the children — Kroy Jagger, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia — to represent their “best interests” amid their parents’ ongoing custody battle.

Two things in particular that Kroy wants to be investigated by the GAL are Kim’s “driving recklessly with the kids in the car and constant gambling.” Kim may have a lot to say about that when she starts filming for The Real Housewives Of Atlanta again with  Sheree Whitfield. I can picture it now: Kim driving Sheree around the neighborhood, swerving all over the road while alternating her hand between the wheel and whatever poker app is open on her phone. But in the meantime, Kim’s lawyer clapped back at the accusations in a statement:

‘It’s really sad the way Kroy is causing our divorce to play out in the media like this because it could have a profound effect on our children in the long run,” the statement begins. “To continuously spread lies in an attempt to paint Kim as an unfit mother for his own gain is harmful and incredibly misleading regarding Kim’s efforts to raise her children.”

You know what would probably be the least harmful effect on their children’s well-being? If their parents grew the fuck up, but that’s probably a lot to ask in this case.
