Vin Diesel Is Reportedly Blaming Jason Momoa’s “Overacting” For The Bad Reviews Of “Fast X”

Now that Vin Diesel’s feud with The Rock seems to be over with The Rock returning to the Fast and Furious franchise, it’s time for another fast and furious feud. Now, nobody was expecting Fast X to be filled with dedicated thespians competing for Oscars. But don’t let Vin Diesel know that because he’s blowing through all of the Stop signs. And after eleven films repeatedly using the word “family,” we’re all ready to be emancipated from his collection of car thieves once and for all. But since the checks keep rolling in, Vin and his crew will continue rolling down hills in fancy fast cars emerging unscathed for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, the reviews from this latest installment are worse than a ten-car pile-up, and instead of Vin admitting this franchise has finally run out of gas, he’s supposedly blaming newcomer Jason Momoa‘s “overacting” on the film’s terrible reviews.

After Paul Walker’s death a decade ago, Vin should have known there could never be a return to Fast‘s glory days. But instead, he’s decided to play Chicken with critics every time, and the critics have been victorious every time. As you can imagine, reviews for Fast X have been abysmal. It currently sits at 56% on Rotten Tomatoes. Generally, if you liked the other films, you’ll love this one as well because it’s been the same movie for the past few years. However, Jason’s portrayal of crazed villain Dante has been the bright spot most critics have enjoyed. Lainey Gossip‘s Sarah Marrs credits Jason’s performance as the thing that saves the entire movie by writing, “If it weren’t for Jason Momoa, Fast X would be as unbearable as the last few Fast films, but thank the gods for him, because he is the shot in the arm this franchise desperately needed.” Well, why in the hell did she write that? Because she wasn’t the only one who felt this way, and unfortunately, Vin noticed. And we already know Vin is the Beyoncé of the Fast world with no room for background singers. So now, according to Radar, Vin is telling anyone who will listen that the reason the film is getting such bad reviews isn’t that nobody wants to see a middle-aged man in tight titty shirts drone on about family anymore. It is 100% because of Jason’s hammy acting.

Sources revealed desperate Diesel — who also produced the film and famously feuded for years with another heavyweight co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — is unwilling to accept that he might have played a role in the poor reviews and is throwing Momoa under the bus — even though Jason is one of a few aspects of the film that critics praised!

“Vin is embarrassed Jason is being branded the only bright spot in the film and stealing his thunder in the franchise he built himself,” said a source.

Insiders said the strongman has been telling friends Jason’s “overacting” and “scene-stealing” undermined his movie, which drew a wimpy 57 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes but still opened to a strong box office.

Vin, Imma let you finish, but you’re combing over the one very important word in regard to Jason’s performance: ACTING. It’s something you’ve never done well. Perhaps Jason could give you a few pointers about range? Just a suggestion.
