Jennifer Lopez Shared A Ton Of Photos From Her And Ben Affleck’s Georgia Wedding In Her Newsletter

As Ben and Jennifer Lynn Affleck continued to terrorize store clerks in Italy, Bed Bath & Beyond stores nationwide probably experienced a rush of customers this week looking to bring a little JLo glamor into their lives after Jen shared AUTHORIZED photos of their Georgia wedding reception’s “rustic country-chic” decor and her myriad outfit changes to subscribers of her On the JLo newsletter. I pity the poor BB&B employees across this great nation who had to tell hoards of Bennifriends that Jen had already cleaned them out of every stitch of Live, Laugh, Love merchandise, and in fact, caused an international shortage of that font. And now People has the pictures so hopefully, folks will be satisfied with throw pillows and distressed wood signs that read “Love Never Fails” in a Papyrus font instead, at least until Avatar 2 comes out and there’s a run on that font too. After that Bennifriends are down to the dregs, and there’s really nothing funny or romantic about “Love is Patient” written in Comic Sans. OK, it’s kind of funny.

I’m sure Jen is just as excited to get her cozy season on as the next gal but first she’s got some light housekeeping to tend to before she trades in her summer gingham and linens for autumnal cashmere and leather. She’s had quite the summer and before she can switch out her straw fedora for a wool one, she must wrap up her wedding season which she says has been “one of the most perfect of our lives.” This is really something considering this is her 4th and Ben’s 2nd. E! News reports:

The wedding may be over, but the magic is just beginning.

Less than two weeks after Jennifer Lopez exchanged vows with Ben Affleck during a Georgia ceremony, the singer kept the celebrations going by sharing brand-new photos of her special day.

As seen in her On the JLo newsletter, the newlywed looked back on her weekend that started with a rehearsal dinner and ended with a sparkling reception filled with fireworks.

“For us, this was perfect timing,” Jennifer shared when looking back on her Aug. 20 nuptials. “Nothing ever felt more right to me, and I knew we were finally ‘settling down’ in a way you can only do when you understand loss and joy.”

Despite a few hiccups leading up to the big day including family members catching the stomach bug, Jennifer said she felt a “calm and easy certainty” that everything was going to work out. Sure enough, her wedding ceremony was “perfect.”

“One of the most perfect of our lives,” the Marry Me star said. “We couldn’t have been happier. I wish all of you the same kind of happiness…the hard-earned kind that’s all the sweeter for the journey that came before it.”

Not just family members, Page Six notes that Jen said “all of us caught a stomach bug,” (good job, little ghost) which might explain why Ben looked a little green around the gills in the UNAUTHORIZED video serenade that was leaked. Jen will almost certainly release the AUTHORIZED version as soon as her digital arts team has had a chance to enhance it. It may be a while though because they have been working overtime with these wedding pics. First up, here’s Jen’s rehearsal dinner outfit which comes with a white washed mirror frame that’s now out of stock at Wayfair nationally.

And for the main event, Jen wore three separate looks. She walked down the aisle wearing “an ethereal version of Ralph Lauren’s classic turtleneck column dress,” with a cathedral train and a ruffled skirt “attached with over 1,000 handkerchiefs to serve volume.” (via People) In other words, Jen stuffs with Kleenex. Relatable queen!

People adds “The evening ended with Lopez in a mermaid silhouette dress featuring a keyhole neckline accented with Swarovski crystals, and a sheer, removable hood-like veil.” But before Jen wore a second dress that we already got a sneak peek at. It’s the “one-of-a-kind dress draped in pearl embellishments and Swarovski crystal detailing” she wore in that UNAUTHORIZED video. This look was created “by 30 artisans over the span of 700 hours,” and that’s just the photo finisher’s labor. Somebody had to hand embroider the dress too.

But that’s not all! What’s a wedding without a morning after? Over. That’s what. Unless you’re Bennifer. Then it’s an opportunity for the PFU (Photo Finishers Untied, that’s their union) to gather support for a general strike against unfair working conditions.

Oh, I see. They all just quiet quit. Good for them! Summer’s hard. I’m sure things will quiet down in the fall when the leaves turn to flame, Jen busts out her collection of full-length camel coats, and Dunkin’ busts out the Pumpkin Munchkins.
