Jennifer Lopez Says That The Footage Of Her Serenading Ben Affleck At Their Latest Wedding Was Stolen And Shared Online Without Their Consent

I would’ve bet the cost of an On The JLo newsletter subscription (it’s free) that the first Bennifer wedding leak we’d hear about was the one that Ben Affleck took out back next to the catering van, one eye closed so he could remain upright and avoid toppling over into his own powerful piss stream, cigarette (with 3 inches of ash) that he bummed from a busboy hanging from the side of his mouth. But, it turns out that the footage of Jennifer Lopez serenading Ben that we heard about on Friday was the first (admitted, non-urine) leak–because according to ET Canada, Jennifer commented on a fan’s Instagram post of the clip that it was supposed to be a private moment between the kind-of-recentlyweds, and that whoever took it shared it without their consent.

The video simply shows JLo trying to convince everyone that she has a decent singing voice while Ben takes on the most challenging role of his career: sitting in a chair directly in front of her, feigning enjoyment, and trying not to stare at her backup dancers. via ET Canada:

The clip sees Affleck seated in the middle of the dance floor while his wife sings what appears to be an unreleased track, containing the lyrics “Can’t get enough of you.”

But we were never supposed to see this (until Bennifer was ready to monetize it, of course). A JLo fan account, “Jlow0rld” posted the clip, and Jennifer aired her frustration in the comments section.

Lopez commented on a fan post that shared the clip on Instagram, speculating in the caption whether the moment was intended to be kept private or to be used as a marketing stunt.

“This was taken without permission. Period,” she clarified in the comment section. “Whoever did it took advantage of our private moment. I don’t know where you all are getting it from because we had NDAs [non-disclosure agreements] and asked everyone not to share anything from our wedding. That is our choice to share.”

The newlywed star then referenced her newsletter, noting, “Anything I put out private is OnTheJLO and it’s ready to share with my fans. Which I will do when I am ready to. This was stolen without our consent and sold for money.”

The poor soul who sold this “private moment” was probably just trying to recoup some money for having to take unpaid time off to attend a 3-day long “wedding.” After Jennifer chimed in, the account deleted the post of JLo’s performance and replaced it with one featuring the screenshot of her frustration, which she approved of.

The fan account later deleted the post “out of respect for Bennifer” and shared a new post of a screenshot image of Lopez’s comment. The singer then reacted to the new post by liking it.

Here’s that:

How absolutely tragic for Jennifer to have to clear this up while on her and Ben’s second honeymoon in Italy within a month. She most likely has the time though, since Ben’s hiding from the paps in an Italian villa somewhere trying not to spill his Diet Coke while nodding off.  Jennifer has made herself clear–if anyone’s going to make money from JLo’s cringeworthy moments, it’s JLo; we know what she really “can’t get enough of” is attention and Benjamin Franklins, not Benjamin Affleck.
