Hailey Bieber Was Briefly Hospitalized With A Brain Clot

Hailey Bieber Baldwin had a serious scare recently and it wasn’t due to waking up to the fact that she’s married to Justin Bieber. According to People, Hailey was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after experiencing “stroke-like symptoms” while sitting down to breakfast with Justin. Hailey was admitted to the hospital and it was discovered that she had a small blood clot in her brain. Thankfully, the issue was resolved on its own and she was released soon after. It’s a terrifying thing to have happened but not entirely unpredictable. If I were married to Justin, I’d expect my brain to explode with some regularity.

People reports:

Hailey Bieber has been released from the hospital after being admitted for a brain condition.

The model, 25, was hospitalized in Palm Springs for a medical emergency earlier this week, PEOPLE can confirm. Bieber was admitted to the hospital with stroke-like symptoms caused by a blood clot in her brain, she shared in a statement on Saturday.

TMZ notes that doctors did a battery of tests on Hailey which included trying to determine if the issue was possibly connected to COVID-19 since Justin tested positive last month, causing him to postpone a few dates of his Justice World Tour. Here’s Hailey’s account of the incident.

“On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke like symptoms and was taken to the hospital,” Bieber posted in a statement on her Instagram Story.

“They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours,” she continued. “Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!”

Since Hailey has previously denied that Justin treats her like shit, we’re going to have to assume he was appropriately responsive and attentive during this ordeal and didn’t just sit across from her sipping on his orange juice, chuckling to himself while watching TikTok’s of people doing The Blackout Challenge while his wife struggled for breath. Though he was probably all “Babe, you OK? You’ve barely touched your Plate of Scrambled Eggs NFT.” Oh, and while we’re here — Where are SUSHI AND TUNA? Did they get eaten by a Bored Ape?
