Open Post: Hosted By Mila Kunis And Demi Moore Starring In An AT&T Commercial Together

Demi Moore may be Ashton Kutcher‘s ex-wife, and Mila Kunis may be Ashton’s current wife, but that doesn’t mean that they hate each other and can’t get together for the sake of a beautiful check! They both star in AT&T’s newest Super Bowl spot which is beginning to air this week.

This AT&T Fiber internet commercial launches today and will air during Super Bowl LVI (56 for those of us who can’t read roman numerals). The ad features Demi and Mila at a high school reunion of sorts, clearly different generations because, how? And in the ad, both women expect to win the “Most Admired Alum” but golly-gee!–it’s so embarrassing–actually, neither of them win. It ends up going to the fake person who is a “gigillionaire” and represents having “hyper-gig speeds” of the internet thanks to AT&T. Obviously! via Entertainment Tonight:

In the hilarious ad, both Kunis and Moore play themselves at a high school reunion. As the award for “Most Admired Alum” gets ready to be announced, both women believe they have it in the bag. As they both walk up to the stage, they see each other and a shocked Kunis asks Moore, “What are you doing here?” as Moore shrugs. But the two are both surprised when it turns out neither of them won the award. As Moore and Kunis awkwardly share the stage, Moore tells her, “I had no idea we went to the same high school.” Kunis then deadpans, “We have a lot in common.”

Here’s the ad:

The two actually both did go to Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, and Mila tells ET that she came up with the idea to contact Demi for the commercial.

“It was during my first collaboration meeting with AT&T that we discovered Demi was also a Fairfax High alum. I thought it would bring humor and laughs to what was already a great ad. I reached out to her and was so delighted she jumped on board. Now we’re just working on becoming gigillionaires.”

Demi also said words about the ad and made sure to fulfill her contractual obligation by trying to make “gigillionaire” happen:

“Who knew being a Fairfax alum would have brought this unexpected opportunity, to come together with Mila in such a fun and playful way? AT&T has brought new depths to the importance of meaningful connection. Gigillionaires!”

I know that the ad jokes that these two have a lot in common, but I honestly believe it. We all remember Mila and Ashton’s comments about seeing dirt on their kids before showers are called for but do we also remember Demi’s bathroom carpet? Not only did they both marry the same man, but none of them know what bathrooms are for.
