Hilaria Baldwin Didn’t Think She Was Going To Make It Through Her “Challenging Year”

2021 has been a tough year for many of us, what with diseases running rampant and other global issues. But we need to collectively put aside our selfish problems and concerns and focus on what’s really important: Hilaria Baldwin! And let me tell you, this poor culturally fluid soul has had a difficult year through no fault of her own. It’s all the jealous haters that are ruining her life and brand sponsorships! Shame on us as a society for letting this paragon of truth and Spanish culture suffer silently (through multiple long-winded Instagram posts).

In case you were wondering “How IS Hilaria doing?” in between bites of dry turkey this Thanksgiving (and who wasn’t?), she let us know in an Instagram post. As Page Six recounts:

Hilaria Baldwin took a moment on Thanksgiving to reflect on her “challenging year” and thank her followers for their support.

“Sometimes I didn’t think I was gonna make it through,” the yoga instructor, 37, captioned a video on Instagram of her daughters being silly at a supermarket. “I want you to know how much you have helped me through some pretty dark struggles. Knowing you were there—such comfort.”

Hilaria, who is married to Alec Baldwin and shares six kids with him, said her “family and close friends have been invaluable,” but she still wanted her express her gratitude for her fans.

“I miss our chats and the safety net of our community,” she wrote. “I’m hoping, one day, we will get back there.”

You can read the whole harrowing tale here:

She is a true heroine (that’s with a silent h). After all, she has had to put up with people saying she’s not Spanish when in fact she is Spanish at HEART which is the same thing, OBVIOUSLY! Not only that but she recently had a baby who many are saying is from a surrogate. It’s no real issue; however, the Baldwins think it is, so it is, therefore, a problem! And, of course, there’s been the Rust tragedy where her husband Alec Baldwin accidentally killed cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, with a gun he was told didn’t have a live round in it. Hilaria handled it with deference and decorum (by holding an impromptu press conference with Alec on the side of a road). Her struggles are normal and completely not self-inflicted! But she’s powered through the slings and arrows of misfortune and has learned many lecciones importantes.

Hilaria said her struggles have taught her to say “I love you” more. She concluded the post by writing, “It’s what all of this is all about, in my opinion. So, I love you so … with my whole, grateful soul. Happy gratitude day.”

There’s also another thing Hilaria is grateful for. Grateful that her 6-year-old can spell fuck, but can he spell it in Hilaria’s native language of Spanish!?

Move over Black Friday, Santa Hilaria has graced us with a new holiday, Gratitude Day! It’s the day when you overshare on social media and say I love you to the things you care about most. In Hilaria’s case, that’s a picture of herself in her favorite yoga pose and the ability to lock comments on Instagram. Feliz Gratitude Day!
