Ghislaine Maxwell Is Suing Jeffrey Epstein’s Estate

The question “Where in the world is Ghislaine Maxwell?” has been answered. She’s been down at her lawyer’s office trying to get a piece of Epstein’s money.
Ghislaine Maxwell was Jeffrey Epstein’s girlfriend and has been accused of some heinous shit, like recruiting underage girls for Epstein to abuse and use in his sex trafficking ring. She has not been criminally charged YET (fingers crossed!) and denies the claims. Well, now that Jeffrey has allegedly committed suicide before he could meet judgment, Ghislaine is coming for a piece of his estate, saying that he “promised” to take care of her financially.
In her legal filing, Ghislaine claims to have had “no involvement in or knowledge of Epstein’s alleged misconduct.” But she does have involvement and knowledge of his bank accounts, namely that she should be dipping into them. She wants some of his $636 million estate. Her filing reads (via The Guardian):
“While under Epstein’s employ, Maxwell was responsible for managing Epstein’s properties located in New York, Paris, Florida, New Mexico and the US Virgin Islands… During the course of their relationship, including while Maxwell was in Epstein’s employ, Epstein promised Maxwell that he would support her financially. Epstein made these promises to Maxwell repeatedly, both in writing and in conversation.”
Ghislaine also wants to be reimbursed for costs associated with being tied to Jeffrey’s sex ring. She says she “receives regular threats to her life and safety” and requires both security and “safe accommodations”. Ghislaine filed in the Virgin Islands, where Epstein owned two private islands.
You know who finds this disgusting (besides anyone with a conscience)? Virginia Giuffre. Virginia claimed that when she was underage, she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew in Ghislaine’s home. Ghislaine was also accused of frequently bringing underage girls to the Palace. And Virginia herself said that Ghislaine is the one who recruited her as a “masseuse” when she was only 15. Virginia said this about Ghislaine’s lawsuit:
Memo to GM- How dare you play the victim card when you victimised me and countless others. You are a vile, evil, sadistic creature not even worthy of calling a human being. I hope the judge ruling over this laughs you out of court and into jail. #ENOUGH https://t.co/1g8eCQ3Ppv

Ghislaine is not the only one after Epstein’s estate. Attorney General of the US Virgin Islands, Denise George, sued back in January, claiming Epstein’s sexual misconduct there lasted 17 years, between 2001 and 2018, and included the rape and trafficking of women and girls. Denise George’s office is working with the estate and hopes they can begin compensating the victims soon. There are at least two dozen accusers who have already filed civil lawsuits against the estate, and some of them even name Ghislaine as a co-defendant. Lawyers for such accusers told the Miami Herald that Ghislaine’s lawsuit is “unconscionable”. Attorney Sigrid McCawley said:
“It is absolutely appalling that Ghislaine Maxwell… is seeking to drain funds from the very estate that should be paying the Epstein victims’ claims. We view her actions as unconscionable but this is an individual who lost sight of right from wrong a very long time ago.”
So Ghislaine’s story is that she was very close to Jeffrey Epstein and worked hard for him, but she didn’t know about his sex trafficking schemes, even though it was a huge part of his life? Yeah, okay, here’s hoping that Virginia is right and the judge laughs Ghislaine out of court. But don’t be surprised if Ghislaine tries to get sympathy like you know who and shows up to court with a walker.
