R. Kelly’s Girlfriend Joycelyn Savage Says That Tell-All Patreon Isn’t Hers

It looks like one of R. Kelly‘s girlfriends/alleged prisoners did not turn on him. That Patreon page claiming to belong to Joycelyn Savage is a fake. Joycelyn cleared the air via a video where she read a statement which we’re supposed to believe she wrote herself. It’s very hostage-situation-y but those overly-staged videos are par for R. Kelly’s course at this point.

R. Kelly is dealing with all kinds of sexual battery charges and prostitution charges, and child sex tapes. And through it all he’s had his two girlfriends, Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage at his side assuring his claims of innocence. While we see them as two victims of R. Kelly’s gross sexual perversions, they are adamant we are wrong and they love him.

TMZ says that Jocelyn did not turn on R. Kelly and tell everything in a Patreon account. At the end of November, a Patreon claiming to belong to Joycelyn popped up with dark stories about R. Kelly. The page was suspect from the beginning, and so Patreon shut it down and refunded its subscribers after they weren’t able to get in contact with the owner to confirm that Jocelyn was running it.

In a new video, Joycelyn reads from a script on a phone and it looks like she is seeing those words for the first time in her life. Beyond fake sounding. She says she had nothing to do with the Patreon page and will never turn on her man like we really wish she would.

“I am truly tired of all the lies that they are saying about the man we love so much and our best friend, R. Kelly. It has been said that I have left him and he has abused me and all sorts of nonsense. …Someone is impersonating me. I just want everyone to know we still support him and we would never betray him. Me and Azriel will forever love him.”

She also says that she speaks with R. Kelly all the time and he thanks his fans and reads all their letters. He “reads” them she said… Remember how R. Kelly cannot read? But we should believe her and her statement, right? Here it is:

The Savage family attorney, Gerald Griggs, gave TMZ a statement about the video saying it’s very depressing:

“We’re saddened and disappointed to learn that Joycelyn Savage has said that she was not the person operating the Patreon account… We deeply desired to hear her story and in her own voice outside of the presence of Robert Sylvester Kelly or anyone associated with him. For nearly three years, Joycelyn Savage has not been able to speak outside of a controlled environment created by Mr. Kelly. Her video today was not any different… Although we can now verify that it wasn’t her account, the allegations still remain. These are allegations that our own independent investigation found to be accurate and closely match the details listed in four indictments against Mr. Kelly… We are also concerned about who gained access to Joycelyn’s personal Instagram account to mislead the public and her family… But there is no deception in this fact, for three years, Joycelyn’s family has spent the holidays without their daughter. They love her and long to embrace her once again.”

This is a sad story. To think that Joycelyn will be spending the holidays rubbing ointment on R. Kelly’s toe during a prison visit instead of doing literally anything other than that. At least now she knows that if she does want to leave R. Kelly and make money from Patreon, she can.
