Dakota Johnson Spent Thanksgiving With Chris Martin And Gwyneth Paltrow

I don’t know for sure that Thanksgiving with Gwyneth Paltrow involves a wine that goes well with boiled kale stems (although I’m sure that’s totally on the table), but thanks to People, we know that it allegedly involved dinner with her new husband, as well as her ex-husband and his girlfriend. Sources say that Gwyneth, Brad Falchuk, Chris Martin, and Dakota Johnson, as well as Gywneth and Chris’ kids, Apple and Moses, all joined together for Thanksgiving dinner this year.

It’s not known is whether they were also joined at the table by a baby in Dakota’s body, because that’s still just an unsubstantiated rumor based on blue balloons. For now we’re just talking about the six of them, and a source says everyone had a good time.

“They’re a total modern family and had a great time celebrating together.”

A source tells E! News that their big ol’ happy family Thanksgiving happened on the east coast, which is also where Gwyneth and Brad got married two months ago. The source goes on to say that Gwyneth has welcomed Dakota into their family with open arms ever since she and Chris got together about a year ago.

“Gwyneth thinks she is lovely. She gets on very well with her and is happy for Chris. They’ve spent a good amount of time together and have a very nice friendship. The kids really like Dakota and enjoy spending time with her.”

The source also says that it’s really important for Gwyneth and Chris to spend holidays together for their kids, which would explain the blended family feast. That’s nice, regardless of what kind of vaguely wellness-based food alternatives were served. And even though dinner with your partner’s ex sounds like a nightmare for some, I’m sure it was nothing for Dakota. She survived through the awkwardness of promoting three Fifty Shades movies; a Thanksgiving meal is nothing.
