Grey’s Anatomy’s former chief resident homophobe, 59-year-old “Frederick Douglass Conservative” Isaiah Washington, recently announced his “early retirement from the entertainment industry” on “Twatter,” with the same energy of a former Disney child actor who’s been temporarily shaded off Twitter by their pop-star ex’s new piece. Only in Isaiah’s case, it’s “the haters, provocateurs and the Useful Idiots,” who have driven him to this extreme, which presumably includes the star of The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, Isaiah’s former Grey’s castmate Katherine Heigl.
Isaiah Washington Dragged Katherine Heigl For Calling Him Out More Than A Decade Ago
Back in 2007, Isaiah Washington got fired from Grey’s Anatomy for calling T.R. Knight a homophobic slur during an on-set fight with Patrick Dempsey. T.R.’s bestie, Katherine Heigl, defended T.R. and dragged the shit out of Isaiah, suggesting he should never be allowed to speak publicly. And over a decade later, Isaiah got bored and decided to drag the megastar who we all care about, Katherine Heigl, on Twitter. It’s actually surprising that Isaiah was able to tweet because you’d think he’d have calluses on his hands from holding onto a grudge for so long.

Isaiah Washington Resembles Those Remarks About The Toxic Culture On “Grey’s Anatomy”
While he won’t admit it, Isaiah Washington’s personal theme song is Toxic by Britney Spears. Every time his name is uttered or he enters a room, that electric violin “neer, neer, neer, neer” riff comes on over god’s loudspeaker. And he doesn’t even have to actually be named for it to play. When Ellen Pompeo spoke to Variety last week to talk about fair pay and the toxic work environment on the set of Grey’s Anatomy, she never once mentioned Isaiah by name. But at the mere mention of “toxic”, in came those strings, and Isaiah came running.
