Isaiah Washington Pushes T.R. Knight Out of the Closet

Grey’s Anatomy star, T.R. Knight, has confessed that Isaiah Washington’s slurs forced him to come out of the closet. Last October, Isaiah Washington used the word “faggot” during a fight with Patrick Dempsey.

T.R. told Ellen Degeneres that the power of that word helped him find the courage to come out. He said, “I’ve never been called that to my face. So I think when that happened, something shifted, and it became bigger than myself.”

He said that mostly everyone on the set knew, but he didn’t think it was important to make it public until Isaiah’s statement. However, he is saddened by the fact that Isaiah has denied ever using that word. During press for the Golden Globes, Isaiah told reporters, “No, I did not call T.R. a faggot. Never happened, never happened.”

T.R. really had no comment about Isaiah’s statement.
