Isaiah Washington Has Left The Democratic Party And Is Now A Trump Supporter
Isaiah Washington is back! Yes, that Isaiah Washington who got fired from Grey’s Anatomy for throwing homophobic slurs at T.R. Knight. He’s back to show us that he loves to live his life as the personified version of Opposite Day, because while much of the world is looking at Donald Trump‘s presidency with major side-eyes, he’s hearing the words, “COME ON DOWN!“, like he’s on The Price Is Right. Isaiah has announced that he’s left the Democratic Party to fully support you know who.
Fox News reports that Isaiah has become sick and tired of being sick and tired with the way the Democrats have done nothing for the past fifty years. And since he’s a madcap Wild Card kinda guy, he’s taking his frustration to the other side, where the grass is a bit more orange. A few months ago he expressed his displeasure with the Democrats by blasting former president Barack Obama for not doing more for the black community.
I voted for 44 twice. I even checked my emails in his Senate Office while lobbying for Salone to be given another chance to rebrand. Not once in 8 years was I given any support regarding Africa or the Black Agenda, but 45 invites me to the WH to celebrate the #FirstStepAct 🤷🏾♂️

Perhaps Obama didn’t invite you to the White House because he knew one day he’d be looking at this story, shaking his head saying,”Shut up, dummy!”, like Fred Sanford. Or maybe that’s just me. Whatever.
The main reason Isaiah is now #TeamTrump is because Trump implemented the First Step Act, which helps formerly incarcerated people with reduced sentences and re-entry into society. And that act alone was enough to make him kick the Democratic donkey to the curb so he could fly away on the big-eared elephant known as the Republican Party. He’s even a proud supporter of the #WalkAway movement, where former liberals are now doing the Two-Faced Two-Step with Trump.
“Walking away is a sacrifice,” Washington said. “There’s a risk and there’s a penalty for it but you have to walk away when it matters…and the reason I chose to walk away from the Democratic party…is that something doesn’t’ feel right.”
His decision has been met with much criticism, to which he could care less. Isaiah also revealed that he’s not the only one who feels the way he does.
“You got a lot of conservative or centric libertarian-minded people that really care about other people but they are terrified to come out of the closet and say anything that’s not in line with the Democratic party,” Washington explained, urging those in the Hollywood community to speak up.
Flash forward to a few months from now when Trump does something that Isaiah think is dumb and wants back in. HELL NAW! You’re lucky you made it through Cookout Season this year, brotha, because those invites are about to dry up for the 2020 season. And no, we will NOT be saving you a plate.
