Amazon Swears Nicole Kidman Didn’t Walk Off The Hong Kong Set Of “Expats”

September 8, 2021 / Posted by:

Nicole Kidman’s publicist might be thinking right now that they wish they could go back in time to three weeks ago when the messiest news related to her show, Amazon’s Expats, was the reveal that she skipped a mandatory COVID-19 quarantine when she showed up for filming in Hong Kong. Because things have gotten reach-for-the-Tylenol levels of headache making on the set of Expats, allegedly. It’s gotten so bad, Amazon had to come out with a statement assuring everyone it’s not the problematic tone-deaf fiasco that it’s rumored to be.

Joely Fisher Had Words For SAG’s New President Fran Drescher

September 7, 2021 / Posted by:

It’s really too bad these two hate each other so much because come on – look at the hair, the body, and the lethal levels of charm that radiate from these two. They’d be perfect for a sassy Las Vegas nightly double act. But as mentioned, Joely Fisher and Fran Drescher aren’t exactly work pals, as Joely Fisher has recently made it perfectly clear she does not like the words: “SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher.

Johnny Depp Accused Hollywood Of An Anti-Johnny Boycott

August 16, 2021 / Posted by:

In another universe, we might be hearing the words, “And the awards for Best Actor goes to…Johnny Depp!” around Oscar time. Because Johnny Depp’s latest project is a very serious, important biopic called Minamata, which is about American photojournalist W. Eugene Smith, who exposed the effects of radiation poisoning in Japan in the 1970s. It sounds like the perfect recipe for a long-awaited Oscar win, but that’s not happening, because in this universe, Johnny Depp is very much an actor who is fighting for a headline that doesn’t mention leaving movie projects, or a reminder that a court of law said it was 100% a-ok for The Sun to refer to him as a “wife beater.” The director of Minamata has accused MGM of burying the release of the film, because they don’t want to deal with any questions or press surrounding Johnny Depp. Now Johnny Depp is doing much of the same, except he’s accusing all of Hollywood of boycotting him.

An “Aquaman 2” Producer Says Amber Heard Was Never At Risk Of Losing Her Job

July 30, 2021 / Posted by:

For the past couple of years, there has been talk on the internet that Amber Heard’s time playing Aquaman’s love Mera in the DC Extended Universe is nearing its expiration date like a three-day-old tuna salad sandwich. And a whole lot of talk has been coming from some fans of her ex-husband Johnny Depp, who believe she was the lone abuser in the marriage. But Amber Heard didn’t actually have to worry about becoming a former fish-based superhero, at least not according to a recent Deadline interview with Aquaman producer Peter Safran.

The Director Of “Minamata” Thinks MGM Buried The Film Because Of Johnny Depp

July 27, 2021 / Posted by:

Johnny Depp is currently enjoying the type of career usually afforded to month-old expired yogurt, which is to say, not a whole lot of people want to go near it. It’s gotten to the point where even if Johnny did have an opportunity to book a job, he’d probably have to respond: “Cool, let me check my schedule and see if I’m free. There is a chance I’ll be in court fighting my ex-wife that day.” Johnny has been losing acting gigs, and even the movies he filmed before everything went to shit are not easy to find. Remember that movie about the murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls? Exactly. Johnny also recently starred in a film called Minamata, which premiered last year at the Berlin International Film Festival. And then? Crickets. The director of Minamata Andrew Levitas thinks he knows why his film is being given the hush-hush treatment in the United States by MGM, and he’s sure it’s because MGM doesn’t want to have to talk about Johnny Depp.

Madonna Appears To Be Working With Screenwriter Erin Wilson On Her Biopic After Diablo Cody Reportedly Left The Project

June 14, 2021 / Posted by:

Here’s the latest update on Madonna’s biopic: DRAMA. And I wish I could say this was a story about how they just wrapped filming on the messy real-life scene where Courtney Love tossed a compact at Madonna during the red carpet of the 1995 MTV VMAs, but no, we’re still in pre-production drama. After much speculation, we can officially count Diablo Cody as 100% done with this project. Because Madonna just debuted her brand-new BSFFTDOTB (best screenwriter friend for the duration of this biopic).
