Patrick Dempsey Was Reportedly A Diva Terror On The Set Of “Grey’s Anatomy”
There’s an upcoming book about the behind-the-scenes drama of Grey’s Anatomy, entitled, How to Save a Life: The Inside Story of Grey’s Anatomy. It’s written by Entertainment Weekly’s Lynette Rice, and there’s already talk (in this very post) that she’ll sweep the Pulitzers, the Booker Prizes, and the Gossipy Biotch Awards. The book spills tea about Patrick Dempsey’s 2015 exit from the show. There have always been rumors that Dr. McDreamy got killed off cuz Patrick was a diva and Shonda Rimes hated him. But now we have actual confirmation from executive producer James D. Parriott, who was brought back to the series to oversee Patrick’s exit. James says that Patrick got fired due to non-sexual “HR issues.” Apparently, he was terrorizing the set, and “some cast members had all sorts of PTSD with him.” James adds that Shonda and Patrick were at each other’s throats, Ellen Pompeo was frustrated over his constant complaining about long hours, and he “didn’t like the inconvenience of coming in every day and working.” Bitch, welcome to the club! Mike Richards Is Officially Out As Executive Producer Of “Jeopardy!”
If you told me six months ago that the search for the new Jeopardy! host would be messier than the latest season of The Real Housewives of New York, I’d have said, “Quit your lies, nerd.” But you would have been right! Sony Pictures Television screwed the pooch, with lots of help from their golden boy, Mike Richards. Last Monday the suits at Sony announced that Mike would remain Jeopardy!’s executive producer, just a week after he stepped down as the new host in the wake of his gross podcast comments and discrimination lawsuit controversies. Surprise, surprise, Sony’s decision to keep disgraced Mike in charge behind the scenes was wildly unpopular, and this morning they finally informed Jeopardy! staff members that Mike was dunzo. Now we wait for Mike to reveal all the juicy dirt he had on Sony’s top executives. Blackmail had to be the reason they kept investing in him.
Mike Richards Has Stepped Down From His Brand New Gig As The Host Of “Jeopardy!”
Mayim Bialik better quit her actual day job because Jeopardy! needs a new full-time host. Jeopardy! executive producer Mike Richards and Mayim Bialick were just announced as the new hosts of the game show, replacing international treasure Alex Trebek. Mike was going to be the daily host of the syndicated show while Blossom hosts primetime specials and spin-off shows. But then a shit ton of bad press hit Mike Richards. Mike was accused of sexism and discrimination while he was a producer on The Price is Right. Then earlier this week, The Ringer brought out a bunch of bigoted, sexist, and racist comments Mike made on his podcast The Randumb Show in 2013 and 2014. Mike apologized for those comments, but I guess it wasn’t enough. Because he’s now out of a job. Mike announced to his staff that he will no longer host Jeopardy!. So they trotted out a parade of guests hosts (when they probably already made the decision to hire Mike Richards) and this happens!?! Bring out ThePriceisRightlosinghorn.
Broadway’s Laura Osnes Was Fired From A Hamptons Show For Refusing To Get Vaccinated
When it comes to the COVID vaccine, you either got it, you want it, or you “did your own research” by trading microchipping memes with a Facebook friend who got all Cs in high school. But many employers and venues are getting serious about public safety, and are making COVID vaccines a mandatory decision. That includes a one-night-only performance of Crazy For You at East Hampton’s Guild Hall on August 29. But that show will no longer star Laura Osnes because she has refused to get vaccinated.
A German Reporter Was Fired After Smearing Mud On Her Face To Look Like She Helped Clean Up A Flooded Town
Last week Europe was hit with torrential floods which killed at least 196 people in Germany and Belgium. Bad Münstereifel, a small town in Western Germany, was completely devastated, and soon TV presenter Susanna Ohlen showed up to report on the destruction. But before Susanna went live, she did something really dirty; she smeared mud on her face and clothes so it would look like she was in the middle of helping with the clean-up. Unfortunately for Susanna, her trick was caught on film by a curious onlooker who posted it on Twitter. She was suspended and then fired because that shit’s basically the opposite of “journalistic integrity” (or “journalistische integrität”).
Fired “Real Housewives Of Orange County” Cast Members Kelly Dodd And Braunwyn Windham-Burke Fought About Getting Canned
Yesterday Bravo announced they were cleaning house on The Real Housewives of Orange County, firing Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, and re-hiring Heather Dubrow. None of these dismissals were a surprise, especially Lyme disease-having/COVID-denying/All Lives Matter-spouting Kelly. Fans have been gunning for her to get canned since last year, and finally, the Bravo Gods obliged! But rather than take responsibility for the actions that led to the loss of her job (HA!), Kelly is blaming fellow firee Braunwyn. Kelly posted Braunwyn’s text screenshots to Instagram.
