Laura Osnes won NBC’s Grease: You’re The One That I Want! in 2007 and went on to star in a plethora of Broadway shows like Grease, Anything Goes, and Bandstand. Laure was supposed to star in a one-night-only performance of Crazy For You on August 29 at Guild Hall in East Hampton. But then it was reported that she was dropped from the show for refusing to get vaccinated. That’s a lie, according to Laura herself. Laura posted to Instagram saying that no she was not fired, she stepped away willingly in a non-dramatic transition because they changed safety protocols. AKA mandated vaccines.

But many employers and venues are getting serious about public safety, and are making COVID vaccines a mandatory decision. That includes a one-night-only performance of Crazy For You at East Hampton’s Guild Hall on August 29. But that show will no longer star Laura Osnes because she has refused to get vaccinated.
