Post Malone’s Weight Loss Is Reportedly From Diet And Exercise, Not Sickness Or Addiction; And He Drank Beer From A Fan’s Sneaker At A Recent Show

Post Malone is just wrapping up the Australian leg of his tour, and apparently, fans have been concerned about his health and physical appearance. I mean, haven’t we all seen him at some point and been a little concerned about his health and physical appearance choices? He looks like his entire body is covered in scuzzy Band-aid glue. But the worry this time wasn’t because of–broadly gestures at his entire person–it was because some of his bizarre movement choices and noticeable weight loss have led people to believe he may be in the throes of serious illness or drug addiction. This isn’t even the first time he’s had to shoot down rumors about drug problems, but sources and Post’s own dad say he’s healthier than ever right now, and everyone can relax. And in a display to probably prove he’s not gone totally soft, Post drank beer out of a fan’s shoe mid-performance the other night.

According to TMZ, sources close to the new “hot dad” say his weight loss was intentional after previousy having to put some on for a movie role.

Post is on tour in Australia, and lots of folks became concerned when video showed him looking slimmer as he performed in a t-shirt and shorts. Many believed he was battling illness or even addiction because of his dramatic weight loss and the obscure movements he made while singing.

Sources close to Post tell TMZ … there’s no need for fans to be alarmed, because he’s not on drugs or sick, in fact, it’s quite the opposite.

Our sources say Post previously gained some weight for a movie role, but ever since he’s been adhering to a strict diet and working out. Post’s been touring since September, and he does a 90-minute set, and we’re told that’s contributing to the weight loss too.

And Pop-pop Malone also chimed in to assure everyone that all is well.

In fact, Post Malone’s dad even weighed in on his son’s new look on social media … leaving a comment on a fan video questioning Post’s health due to his weight loss, saying … “Healthiest he’s been in years! Mentally and physically.”

No explanation was offered for these bizarre movements, though. I guess at least this unstable mic-fellating move is one way to avoid rolling an ankle:

But Post isn’t all green smoothies and wind sprints now; he still partook in one of his dipped-in-dirt habits like swilling footy beer out of a fan’s sneaker. via Complex:

Posty was opening for the Red Hot Chili Peppers when he was handed a low-top white sneaker, which he then poured the contents of his red solo cup into.

“How did we get here?” he asks the hyped crowd, who proceeded to chant “chug” in unison. Posty obliged and guzzled the beverage before bowing and handing the moist shoe back to its owner. Post was also filmed doing bizarre tricks with his microphone, and tugging at his clothes in a passionate manner as he sang.

And here’s that unnecessary display of lukewarm edginess:

I guess I’d drop a few pounds, too, if I decided to only drink my calories when presented in the used footwear of a stranger who danced around in the Australian heat for several hours. Maybe Post is on to something; move over, Ozempic!
