Bethenny Frankel Says That Sleep And Being Happy Help Her Stay Thin

Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel never misses an opportunity to overshadow some of the good her Bstrong initiatives does with some attention-seeking antics like getting shit-faced and raging at a Coldplay concert in The Hamptons or making sure everyone knows that she fits into her 4-year-old’s pajamas, but sometimes she likes to mix it up like an undrinkable Skinnygirl™ Margarita by spewing tips on how she stays thin. This time, since she gets asked about it “allllll the time,” she decided to finally dole out her best generic tips for maintaining her 115-pound figure.

Bethenny took to TikTok yesterday after a “fan” asked how she stays so thin, and as always, got in a shameless plug for one of her many weight loss-centric products (this time it was a book she wrote a while back, Naturally Thin) that fart in the face of the word-salad “don’t diet” message she then went on to give with a straight face. via People:

“I get asked this all the time. I don’t exercise. I do what I can, when I can,” the 51-year-old Skinnygirl founder began. “I’ll snowboard if I can, I’ll surf if I can. I’ll walk on the beach… but I choose sleep first. Sleep is the number one priority and being happy is the number one priority.”

“I was probably 20 lbs. heavier in my 30s and I was always on a diet,” Frankel admitted, adding that she no longer believes in the idea of exercising to work off calories consumed.

“So I eat what I want, and I don’t ever binge. I don’t workout and I don’t do weights,” the reality star continued. “I believe in balance. I believe in sleep, I believe in living, I believe in french fries, I believe in alcohol, and I believe in not being crazy.”

“The crazier you get, the worse it gets for you. And as you get older, you realize the zero f—s lifestyle works better,” Frankel added.

Ah, that “zero fucks” lifestyle, eh? We see how well that’s been working out for Erika Jayne in real-time. Here’s Bethenny’s sage advice:

@bethennyfrankel

The zero fucks lifestyle is the way of life… #naturallythin #howto #howtostaythin #howtostayfit #howtostaylean #dietculture #foodnoise #chooselifealways #enjoylife #priorities #eatwhatyouwant #enjoylife #alcohol #sleepisimportant #selfcare #carpediem

So basically, this is her advice:

She also went on to say that she goes on walks when she want sto and that being “shackled and imprisoned by dieting” is a misery-maker. Now my eyes are Ramona Singerstyle wide. So what you’re telling me, Bethenny “Skinnygirl™” Frankel, is that everyone who’s been holding their nose to toss back your Skinnygirl™ Moscato and choking down Skinnygirl™ salad dressings should instead whip off their Skinnygirl™ body shapers and toss them into the Skinnygirl™ ocean and just let loose by taking the Skinnygirl™ stairs instead of the elevator and take a leisurely Skinnygirl™ stroll instead of taking their brand-wrapped Skinnygirl™ car–and then they, too, can be wearing toddler-sized Hello Kitty pajamas in no time? Sounds like that might be bad for business, but if you say so!
