Shailene Woodley And Aaron Rodgers Have Broken Up

February 16, 2022 / Posted by:

Sadly, there will be no barefoot vegan wedding in Hawaii between Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers, because they are done after a little less than two years together. Oh well, at least we’ll always have that awkward paid promotional video for Disney World.

30-year-old Shailene and 38-year-old Aaron started dating in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic and surprised everyone a few weeks later when they announced they were engaged.  They continued to lay fairly low, but we would get the off reminder that they were a thing every once in a while. Like after Aaron revealed he lied about his vaccination status and came out as pro-horse paste and Shailene was forced to deny she was cryptically supporting him on social media. Or like when an allegedly COVID-positive Aaron was rumored to be out and about and breaking mandatory isolation rules and Shailene was forced to defend both his honor and his implied dick size on social media. Just regular fiancée things, you know. Shailene doesn’t have to worry about doing any more social media damage control for her fiancé, because Aaron’s not her fiancé anymore. via TMZ:

It’s over between Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley – the power couple has called off their engagement after less than 2 years together.

The 38-year-old NFL MVP and actress, 30, have reportedly ended things for good … months after they were rumored to have split.

They seemed so perfect for each other! The “I’ve done my research” Jock and Permissive Hippie Girlfriend. So what went wrong? Apparently, Aaron was too much of a jock, and that didn’t leave much time for Shailene. via In Touch:

“While Shailene is supportive of Aaron’s career, he put football first and they were barely spending any time together,” says one insider. “She felt he neglected their relationship. Neither of them was happy.”

The Green Bay Packers quarterback is “an independent guy,” the sources adds, noting Aaron “got cold feet” about his impending nuptials to the Big Little Lies actress.

Ultimately, Shailene and Aaron “couldn’t make it work,” a second insider explains. “There were too many obstacles. They’re both adults and decided to part amicably.”

This is the same man who just a year ago was gushing about how he was so excited and how it was going to be “so fun” to have kids with Shailene. But TMZ’s source also claims that Aaron was getting nervous about making such a huge commitment with Shailene and that she wasn’t willing to wait around for him to finally settle down.

It was rumored back in December that Shailene and Aaron were pretty much over, so this news won’t exactly shock anyone who believed that rumor back then. And just last month, a source came forward and cleared up any rumors about Shailene being the perfect soulmate for Aaron. Plenty of people believed that Aaron and Shailene shared very similar thoughts when it came to the COVID vaccine, due to her being engaged to an extremely vocal anti-vaxxer and loud n’ proud Joe Rogan fan. But that source claimed Shailene and Aaron disagree on many things, and that they don’t talk about politics. It sounds like they weren’t talking about much, to be honest. How are you supposed to ask your fiancé if he’s got any more dumb theories about the vaccine when he’s too busy walking out the door shouting, “Maybe we can talk about it in a month or two after I’m done all my football stuff?“.
