Shailene Woodley Denies Deleting A “Cryptic” Instagram Message In Support of Aaron Rodgers

The latest famous person to reveal themselves to be a horse paste-chugging fool that worships at the altar of Joe Rogen’s ministry of misinformation is NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Aaron admitted he’s not actually vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, which is the direct opposite of what he led people to believe during a press conference back in August. And when people started calling Aaron out for his anti-vax views, he claimed he was “in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now.” Poor Aaron. But how has his fiancée Shailene Woodley assisting him during this devastating time? Well, some people seem to think she sent Aaron a subtle message of support via her Instagram Stories and then quickly pulled it, but she claims it was nothing more than a hippie posting about astrology.

For those who haven’t seen the video from where this all started, here’s Aaron looking exactly like how you might picture an Ivermectin-taking, Joe Rogan-listening, vaccine-denying type might look like, in all his frazzled glory, and wearing a t-shirt of Doc Holiday, who died from an infectious respiratory illness (the irony). Aaron’s segment begins at the 1:08:07 mark below:

Not long after Aaron’s video went viral on Friday and he started to receive ten end zone’s worth of backlash, Shailene posted the following image to her Instagram Stories. It reads: “Calm seas may bring you peace, but storms are where you’ll find your power.” Which, honestly, is exactly the kind of thing I’d expect to see floating around the Unofficial Hippie of Hollywood’s Instagram account.

Many people online looked at that motivational moon lady and figured that was Shailene’s way of supporting Aaron in his current situation. And things got especially suspicious when it suddenly vanished. But Shailene addressed the situation with a follow-up Instagram Story, in which she lays it out in no uncertain terms that any speculation about where that sexy water-based moon lady mantra went is purely the media trying to find something that isn’t there. According to Shailene, she didn’t delete it, it simply deleted itself on it’s own, like all Instagram Stories have been known to do. via Yahoo! News:

“Just read somewhere that the media is claiming I deleted an Insta story amid the ‘chaos.’ (An astrology post of all things) (not cryptic at all you dummies.) Do you even know how stories work brah? They self-delete after 24 hours,” Woodley wrote. “Literally lol’ing over here over your determination to make a story out of nothing. Grasping at straws my dears.”

I read Shailene’s follow-up three times, and it feels like she’s only denying the accusation that she deleted the post, not the fact that it might have been a thinly-veiled endorsement of Aaron’s situation. I’m sure I’m not the only one who wonders as much. Yahoo! News notes that Shailene’s vaccination status hasn’t been revealed, and the situation becomes extra-murky when you remember that Shailene and Aaron are good friends with Miles Teller and his wife, and that Miles himself has been fighting off persistent rumors that he’s an anti-vaxxer who caught COVID and shut down production on The Offer. But, Yahoo! News did add that Shailene is currently working on the Showtime drama Three Women, which mandates COVID-19 vaccinations, with some medical exemptions. Hmmm…is one of those medical exemptions self-diagnosed chronic vaginal UVA/B exposure?
