Kim Kardashian Is Going To Host “Saturday Night Live”
Because I guess every famous and famous-ish person in the world is busy on October 9, TMZ says that komedian Kim Kardashian will host that night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which will feature musical guest Halsey. Kim follows in the Size 11 footsteps of former employer Paris Hilton, who was dragged by critics and then-head writer Tina Fey after hosting in 2005. Kim’s husband Kanye West has appeared as a musical guest seven times, but he’s technically never hosted. Ah, what a shame. Cuz that’s a dude who doesn’t take himself too seriously at all.
TMZ reports that Kim and momager Kris Jenner had a sit-down with Lorne Michaels last month in Beverly Hills. At the time, Kim’s team played it off as “a simple catch-up,” but clearly that was a lie because what do Lorne, Kris, and Kim have to catch up about?! They’re not even a part of the same Illuminati chapter! Other hosts for this upcoming season will reportedly include Owen Wilson, Rami Malek, and Jason Sudeikis. Musical guests include Young Thug, Brandi Carlile, and Kacey Musgraves. Obviously, Lorne Michaels’ deal with the devil includes his blood-signed contractual obligation to put a Kardashian on his show, but he really should’ve just gotten Kristen Wiig and Nasim Pedrad to host as Kris and Kim:
Usually, the host of SNL is on the show to promote a movie or whatever. As for Kim, I’m guessing she’ll push SKIMS, which launched a campaign today starring her sister Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox looking like they fell out of an American Apparel ad circa 2009 while flopping up on each other topless and bumping bellies. Somebody check on Addison Rae! Looks like she’s been replaced as Kourtney’s new partner in thirst trapping:
