Chrissy Teigen Threatens Legal Action Against Michael Costello And Walks Away From “Safely” Brand Launched With Kris Jenner
Yesterday we learned that professional troll and seasoned death-wisher Chrissy Teigen and her team had accused fashion designer and former Project Runway contestant Michael Costello of sloppily sweatshop-stitched shenanigans when she claimed the bullying DMs he’d maintained she’d sent to him, threatening to blacklist him from the industry over his alleged racism (see below), were about as authentic as a Kardashian’s latest face (Rood!) and the details under scrutiny were laid out in that post.
Here is Chrissy’s latest statement where she wonders what the fuck Michael Costello is doing and provides proof she believes exonerates her from wishing death upon him in the past:

And People reports:
Chrissy Teigen is speaking out and threatening legal action against fashion designer Michael Costello after he accused her of bullying and shared what she and husband John Legend called “fabricated” DMs.
On Friday, several hours after Legend defended his wife against Costello, she posted a lengthy Instagram caption alongside a statement – written on behalf of Teigen – that addressed the ongoing controversy.
“No idea what the f- michael costello is doing,” Teigen, 35, wrote, referring to Costello’s recent statement to the press saying he has emails that prove Teigen “has gone beyond social media to blacklist Michael Costello offline.”
“He just released a statement where he didn’t at ALL acknowledge how fake the dm’s were, & now claims to have emails that don’t exist. So while he conjures those up (hopefully with someone more talented in fakes this time), here,” she wrote in the caption.
And here is what Chrissy is referring to as far as Michael’s assertions: via TMZ:
Costello is firing back — he says for the last time — by insisting once again that he spoke the truth about Chrissy bullying him and trying to get him blacklisted … and claims he has “receipts of emails and confirmations” to prove it.
That said, Michael’s also apologizing to his family and everyone involved in this “messy situation” for the stress it’s caused. He adds that he will not be commenting further … and he’s taking the obligatory break from social media.
We’ll see if his social media break lasts longer than Chrissy’s admirable record of 22 days. Before he leaves, he’s left a scathing statement in his IG Stories in response to her denials:

So this round of “he said, she said” has grown even uglier, and neither side is backing down.
People also reports that in addition to stores dropping Chrissy’s cookware line, she is now backing away from her Safely brand partnership with Kris Jenner. via People:
Chrissy Teigen will no longer be working with Safely, the home cleaning and self-care line she launched with Kris Jenner just three months ago.
“Chrissy will be stepping away from Safely to take much needed time to focus on herself and be with her family,” Safely said in a statement posted to the brand’s Instagram Story on Friday.
“We fully support her decision and are so thankful for her contributions,” the statement continued. “The brand will continue to move forward and focus on our important mission of bringing high quality, hard-working cleaning products to all American households.”
Kris probably went on a shrieking rampage over the threat of a new business venture getting tainted after the zillion-season cash cow of KUWTK was finally given a mercy killing. Chrissy and Kris had launched the brand with Good American CEO Emma Grede in March, and the line offers plant-powered home cleaning and personal care products like soap, hand sanitizer, etc. But nothing strong enough to clear away the indelible stain Chrissy’s shaky reputation and continued presence would have had on the brand.
Here is the statement from the brand’s IG:

So it remains to be seen which side is telling the truth about the incendiary DMs, and we’ll have all the updates here as they arrive. What we do know is that this debacle has cost Chrissy, her husband John Legend, and Michael both money and credibility in their careers, and they’re all willing to get rough in order to protect their brands and reputations.
On a bit of a lighter note, Amazon warehouse employees across North America are totally getting text memos to stop doing whatever they’re doing in the Wellness Booths (peeing, hate-fucking their co-workers, and sticking Subscribe & Save hat pins in the wonk eyes of their third-party-seller Jeff Bezos voodoo dolls) to open up some Sharpie packs and cross out the “C” in “Cravings” on every remaining copy of Chrissy’s 2016 cookbook. Everyone: “It’s about fucking time!”
