You Won’t Be Able To Find Chrissy Teigen’s Cookware Line At Bloomingdale’s Either

We recently learned that both Macy’s and Target are no longer be carrying Chrissy Teigen’s cookware line, Cravings by Chrissy Teigen. So wherever does a person go if they want to drop $320 on a 12-piece set of pots and pans with Chrissy’s name and face slapped across the box? Not Bloomingdale’s, that’s for sure. Because according to Page Six, Chrissy was just about to announce a brand partnership with Bloomingdale’s, but at the very last moment, they pulled out of the deal. Hmmm…I wonder what suddenly changed their minds?

This news comes just a few days after we learned that Chrissy’s line is no longer available at Macy’s and Target. In terms of Target, a source close to Chrissy claimed that she and Target were talking about cutting ties as far back as last December, adding that it was merely a coincidence that the items had vanished at the exact same time Courtney Stodden once again accused Chrissy of bullying and harassment many years ago when Courtney was 16. Chrissy has since apologized on Twitter for her past behavior. However, some people started to doubt how sincere Chrissy’s apology might have been after Courtney claimed that Chrissy never reached out personally with an apology. It’s currently not a great look for Chrissy. And if her team is in damage control mode, well – they just got a new layer of damage to repair now. via Page Six:

Page Six has learned that Bloomingdale’s walked away from a deal with Chrissy Teigen at the 11th hour because of her explosive cyberbullying scandal. We’re told that Bloomingdale’s was hours away from signing a contract with the Twitter personality and cookbook author, which would see her host a promotional event for the store, but pulled the plug on Monday because of the toxic press swirling around Teigen.

“They pretty much had it together…but had to cancel it,” said an insider of the department store.

How ironic: Chrissy allegedly sent Courtney Stodden death threats, and now Chrissy’s cookware line is on life support. Chrissy hasn’t said anything about the latest in her Cravings cookware saga, but this might not be the end of it. Chrissy has been working on her third Cravings cookbook since last year, and no release date has been given for the book. But I’m going to go out on a limb and predict we’re probably not going to see it for a while.

As for her Macy’s deal, sources tell them that Macy’s allegedly decided to pull the cookware items from its website, because people kept flooding them with negative online reviews. The source says that it hasn’t been decided whether or not Macy’s will bring back Chrissy’s Cravings line later when things cool down a bit. Page Six’s source knows what’s going on with both stores because Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s are owned by the same parent company.

There is one winner here, and it’s the employees of every Bloomingdale’s The Outlet Store. Thank goodness Chrissy’s deal got axed before it started – those outlet store employees were literally saved by pure lucky timing. Now they don’t have to wait around worrying and wondering when the head office will be dumping several trucks’ worth of Cravings merch at the loading dock, with a note that reads: “Get these out ASAP and try to hide her name with the 80% off discount sticker.” Those 12-piece sets are probably very heavy.
