Pink Brought Her Daughter Out To Perform And Do Circus Tricks During Her Billboard Music Awards Performance

During last night’s 2021 Billboard Music Awards, Pink received The Icon Award. And so clearly she had to hit the stage and stunt hard; this time bringing along her 9-year-old daughter, Willow, for an air-bending acrobatic performance of their song Cover Me in Sunshine. Normally hanging your kid upside from the ceiling is bad parenting, but this time it’s very cool!

41-year-old Pink got the Icon Award and performed a medley of her songs including Cover Me in Sunshine, All I Know So Far, Get the Party Started, So What, Who Knew, Just Like a Pill, and Just Give Me a Reason. Since any Pink performance is incomplete without her swinging around like a spider on meth. And last night, Willow showed us that she’s a Pink-in-training by taking to the skies too. Here’s Pink’s full performance:

More performances included The Weeknd renting out the parking lot to perform Save Your Tears which was one part-Fast & Furious and one part whiny man in a suit with dark glasses.

The Jonas Brothers also performed their new single Leave Before You Love Me which is boring AF and seems like a fuckboy anthem, but they also medleyed in some of their other songs so there’s that, I guess:

Karol G parked a car on stage and danced around it like me and my friends did when we were teenagers and couldn’t drink at someone’s house:

Alicia Keys did her thing, AKA played the piano while mostly SANS FARDS:

And DJ Khaled also did his thing, AKA stand next to an artist who does most of the heavy lifting while he vocalizes and vamps. This time it was H.E.R. and Migos.

And the legendary Duran Duran gave the oldies the tingles by performing a medley of their hits:

Back to Pink. Beyoncé must be absolutely seething. I mean, yes, Blue Ivy has won an NAACP Award and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at 7 years old, but Pink beat Beyonce to the punch by putting little Willow in a performance complete with trapeze stunts.  At this very moment, Beyoncé’s probably teaching Blue, Rumi, and Sir the Single Ladies dance but with new acrobatic moves and it will be performed live underwater.
