Tiffany Haddish Got Very Offended When Someone Compared Her To Nicki Minaj

March 16, 2021 / Posted by:

In the span of 24 hours, Tiffany Haddish has gone from weepy Grammy winner to the reason Nicki Minaj scowls today. Life is a roller coaster of emotions. Tiffany took aim at Nicki during a recent chat on the voice-only app, and Tiffany made good on her catchphrase “She ready!” by letting Nicki be known she’s very much ready to make an enemy.

This all allegedly started when someone told Tiffany that she’s “the Nicki Minaj of comedy right now.” Oh no, don’t ever do that, apparently. via TMZ:

After another voice in the discussion suggested Tiffany’s better than Nicki because she “shows up on time,” Tiff chimed in herself with, “And unlike Nicki, I treat everybody with respect and dignity.”

Okay, so one of the negative character assassinations against Nicki is that she’s late? Nicki Minaj? Takes her time? I don’t know about that. Maybe when it comes to business or events. It certainly doesn’t reflect the speed at which she operates in her personal life. But to get into why Tiffany might dislike Nicki so much, let us travel back in time to 2018, to the MTV VMA awards. Tiffany co-hosted the ceremony with Kevin Hart, and during her monologue, she made a joke about Fifth Harmony. Later in the show, when Nicki accepted the award for Best Hip Hop, she called out Tiffany, who was standing just feet away from her.

So that might be where things started to get rough between Tiffany and Nicki. Or who knows what else it could have been because currently we only have one side. Nicki hasn’t said anything about any of this. Maybe she’ll shoot back in a just-as-shady way by announcing her un-retirement from music with Nicki Minaj’s Respect, Dignity, and Punctuality Tour. All I know for sure is that it’s really too bad that Tiffany took such offense to being compared to Nicki. After all, they really do have a lot in common. They’re both very successful entertainers. They’ve both been fucked over by the Grammys. But most of all, they both have allegedly been known to cyberbully not-famous people on the internet in their spare time. They could fill an entire hour sipping coffee and comparing notes on harassing.
