Lindsay Lohan Shared The Artwork For Her Upcoming Album On Instagram

Lindsay Lohan and Rihanna actually have a lot in common when you think about it. Both are multi-hyphenate moguls with instant brand name recognition. Of course, in Rihanna’s case, the name Fenty is practically synonymous with a cool urban vibe, and high quality yet accessible luxury, and is the result of years of hard work and attention to detail. And in Lindsay’s case, the name Lohan evokes cigarette butts and the color orange. Most critically, they’ve both had us on tenterhooks waiting for their next album to drop! Well, move over Riri, take a seat. Looks like Lindsay’s going to beat you to the punch (I think she thinks the bowl has been laced with Molly)! Today in Lohanaissance history, will mark the day Linds gave us the artwork for her upcoming album. And if you’re expecting some illegible chicken scratch against a black background, how’d you guess!?!?!?!
The post containing the artwork is accompanied by some words. Lindsay’s no skinflint, there are a LOT of them. There’s a mini-memoir in there somewhere. Lindsay talks about the cruelty of Los Angeles, and her Bronx born mother whom she calls a “strong woman and a beautiful person”, noting “we all have our faults and fake promises from different people.” There’s something about karma, something about her being too smart for her own good, a quality she calls “robotic”, and some words that are usually accompanied by prayer hands emojis (#blessed, #gratitude, #respect). What’s important here is that “this will be my album cover ft my sister Aliana”. Oh, and that she tagged Oprah for some reason. Black Oprah!
We still don’t know what the album is called, but we do know that Lindsay tagged an account called MatchaBabesDubai, the bio of which reads “Lindsay Lohan, Her sister, Aliana and our friend Nina love Green Matcha on Thursdays in Dubai @ Starbucks … pretty much the story 💋”, so that should clear up any outstanding questions.
Last month, Lindsay delighted upwards of 35 people when she came through with her promise to release a music video for her single Xanax. If you’re in that number and watched it right away, congratulations! You’re in elite company because Lindsay already deleted it. So you Lohan completists better screenshot this new artwork while you have the chance. See, the thing with Lindsay is, if the quality isn’t there, she’s not afraid to scrap it and start over again from scratch. Perfectionism: Thy Name Is Lohan!
