Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra Jonas Celebrated With Another Wedding Reception
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas may not have had a private Beyoncé concert at their wedding like Pri’s pal Isha (not that they’d want her there hogging all the headlines), but they made up for the paucity by having more ceremonies than all the seasons of The Bachelor combined. The wedding may be over but that doesn’t mean Priyanka and Nick are done celebrating. Entertainment Tonight reports that they recently returned to India and celebrated again with not just one, but two more receptions.
Some famous Bollywood couples have multiple receptions too, but since they aren’t INTERNATIONAL STARS like these two, they don’t get the INTERNATIONAL exposure. But by my count Nick and Priyanka have already milked their nuptials for no fewer than 10 distinct wedding related events including an engagement party, matching sponsored bachelor and bachelorette weekends, a bridal shower (sponsored by Tiffany, of course), and a Sangeet with a bigger production budget than many movies. ET says an additional reception took place on Wednesday at JW Marriott in Mumbai.
ET says the couple attended yet another reception on Thursday, but I’m not entirely convinced it actually happened. ET reports:
For the latest soiree, the actress dazzled in a mint green, midriff-baring two-piece that was custom created by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, and emblazoned with pink and silver crystals. Chopra kept her beautiful brunette tresses down and flowy and accessorized with diamond necklaces, while Jonas kept his all-black ensemble simple and sophisticated.
The reason I’m dubious is that neither Prianka or Nick posted any photos of this event on Instagram. My understanding was that if it’s not on the Gram, it didn’t happen. But it looks like Pri’s friend Sophie Choudry snuck a couple of candid shots of the couple on the Gram, so it must be true.
I wonder if Sophie will be receiving an invoice later this week.
So fear not, friends. If you thought the Jonas’ were slowing down, you’ve got another thing coming. There’s still a lot more mileage to be had out of this bad boy before they run it into the ground and ditch it for a baby-mobile.
