Surprise, Surprise, People Are Pissed About This Picture Of Kathy Griffin Holding A “Bloody” Trump Mask (UPDATE)
When Jabba the Trump won the election, Amanda Palmer said that it’s going to be a shit show but at least the world would get some “amazing satirically political art” Well, ask and ye shall receive, Amanda!
The edgiest artist who ever arted, Tyler Shields, and proud attention whore Kathy Griffin got together and made some HIGH ART that’s got both sides shaking their heads. Some conservatives, including Jabba the Trump Jr., have dropped their champagne popsicles to wave a fist of rage at Kathy and demand that the FBI stop investigating Russia and start investigating that ginger threat to POTUS (they didn’t say that but I’m sure Trump will). Some liberals, including Chelsea Clinton, are side-eying Kathy like, “Bitch, you ain’t helping.”
Kathy posted a video of her and Tyler’s creation on Instagram and said that they were inspired by Trump’s comments about how Megyn Kelly had “blooding coming out of her eyes, coming out of her wherever.” My biggest problem is that the hair on the mask is all wrong. It’s more Tammy Faye Messner and less deep fried polyester guinea pig.
There’s been billions upon billions of tweets to come out of this, but since I love a good CITIZEN’S ARREST, this has to be my favorite:

The Secret Service tweeted today that they investigate every and any possible threat to their “protectees.” HuffPo confirmed that the Secret Service’s tweets were about Kathy’s art. But the Secret Service doesn’t have to investigate, because Trump’s Disciple and her husband already got this by citizen’s arresting Kathy on Twitter!

Trump’s Disciple didn’t @ Kathy, so they didn’t technically bust out a true citizen’s arrest via Twitter. You’re free for now, Kathy!
UPDATE: Kathy has deleted the pics and video from her social media and asked Tyler Shields to do the same. She tweeted out a video apology saying that after seeing the hate coming her way (and learning that she’s now being look at by the Secret Service), she realized that maybe that maybe posing with a bloody Trump mask wasn’t the best move.
