A Source Says Brad Pitt Has “Traumatized” His Children
Several weeks ago, Brad Pitt’s team accused Angelina Jolie of emotionally scarring their six children by making the nasty details of their split public. Yesterday we learned that Angie had agreed to Brad’s request to seal the documents pertaining to their custody battle, but not without letting her lawyer Laura Wasser get in one last dramatic dig first. Laura claimed Brad only wanted things sealed because he was terrified the public would know “the truth.” The documents aren’t officially sealed yet, so it shouldn’t exactly comes as a surprised that a source would almost immediately come forward with a not-so-subtle hint about what “the truth” is.
One of People’s sources echoes what Laura Wasser said in an e-mail last month. The source said that just because Brad Pitt was cleared by the FBI and the DCFS of bad daddy business, doesn’t mean he’s not a bad daddy. According to the source, the Jolie-Pitt kids have been “traumatized” by the things Brad did on that plane.
“They keep pointing to him being cleared. While his behavior didn’t amount to anything criminal, that doesn’t mean he didn’t do anything wrong. The kids are traumatized. The mom has been protecting the kids by not revealing what really happened on that plane. Her interest since the outset hasn’t changed: to protect the health and safety of the kids.”
So while one source claims the children were “traumatized” by Brad, another source is side-eyeing that whole “You can’t handle Brad’s truth!” shot from yesterday.
“It’s nice to see that she has finally come around to supporting the sealing of documents weeks after he requested this action. The most likely scenario is that she shared whatever information she has and the authorities clearly didn’t find it to be credible or substantiated. But if for some reason she inexplicably didn’t share it, then one needs to question how that was in the best interests of the children.
Let’s hope that this agreement to keep things private going forward will finally allow this to be resolved quietly for the best interests of the children.”
Here’s how I know that second source isn’t close with either Angelina or Brad: there’s a zero percent chance that agreement is going to “keep things private” going forward. The details are still going to be “leaked” by “sources.” If I’ve learned anything from Team Brad, it’s that Angelina has probably already written the truth about Brad on several 4×6 index cards and pinned them in chronological order from weakest to juiciest on a cork board in her war room. And each day, a crow pulls a card off the board and takes it to the closest media outlet. It could be a vulture, I’m not sure. Brad’s team, help me out here.
