Rose McGowan Has Retracted The Statements She Made About Asia Argento
After Asia Argento was accused of sexually assaulting 17-year-old Jimmy Bennett back in 2013 when Asia was 37 (a situation Asia continues to claim she’s the real victim of), her former friend Rose McGowan had some accusations of her own. Specifically, the implication that Asia had been sexting with Jimmy when he was as young as 12. Asia was not happy about what Rose had to say, and she threatened to sue Rose for libel. In a move I like to call “How to avoid a libel lawsuit 101,” Rose has decided that the things she said about Asia aren’t things she wanted to say, and has issued and official retraction.

The DailyMailTV dropped the second half of their exclusive interview with Asia Argento today. Yesterday Asia revealed that she was very angry after learning her boyfriend Anthony Bourdain took his own life. Now Asia is talking about the accusations she faced on the internet from people who accused her of being the reason Anthony died.
Asia Argento Is Threatening To Sue Rose McGowan For Libel
Before Asia Argento was accused of having sex with a 17-year-old named Jimmy Bennett in 2013, she might have been known as Rose McGowan’s fellow #MeToo soldier and friend. But ever since Asia began to fight against the accusations that she’s a sexual predator, Rose has slowly (very slowly) moved away from her. Eventually Rose accused Asia of being a major creep and liar. Asia isn’t happy that Rose has been running her mouth, and is threatening Rose with a lawsuit.

When The New York Times came out with an expozay (I’m too lazy to copy and paste the accent mark) saying Asia Argento is like the very sexual predators she is fighting to take down, her fellow #MeToo fighter Rose McGowan tweeted (and deleted) that everyone needs to wait until more information comes out and to be gentle with Asia. That tweet went down about as well as your lunch while reading the allegations against Asia. Rose has taken some time to gather all the info, I guess, because she has now removed her white gloves and ripped the “Handle With Care” label off of Asia. Rose released a statement last night, telling Asia to pull an opposite Harvey Weinstein and take responsibility.

She was also a very outspoken supporter of the #MeToo movement. However, because the universe likes to keep things complicated for us humans, it turns out Asia has been accused of sexual assault herself.
Rose McGowan Has Been Indicted For Felony Cocaine Possession
Back in January 2017, airline workers found Rose McGowan’s wallet after she left the plane at Washington Dulles International Airport, and inside they found cocaine. Rose swore the coke wasn’t hers, and claimed it was planted by one of Harvey Weinstein’s minions. Regardless of what Rose wanted the law to believe, the law has recently determined that she was in possession of coke that day.
