“The Bachelor” Creator Mike Fleiss Left The Series After A Racial Discrimination Investigation Into Him
We all know The Bachelor, but you may not know the creator of the show Mike Fleiss unless you read Dlisted and remember that time his wife got a restraining order against him and accused him of assault but later reunited with him. Mess. But mess seems to follow Mike, as he revealed this week that he would be leaving The Bachelor after 21 years. He made the exit sound chipper and amicable but it sounds like the opposite is true. It turns out there was a racial discrimination investigation into Mike, and the result was: Mike Begone!
Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss (no relation to Heidi Fleiss, which is shocking because they’re both pimps who sometimes get served restraining orders) is back with his wife Laura Fleiss. Normally a couple reuniting would be a good thing, considering she’s carrying his second child and they already have a child together. But this wasn’t a normal situation, as their July break-up was dark. It allegedly involved verbal and physical abuse and him being angry she didn’t have an abortion. It ended with a restraining order, which was later dropped.
Sooo I can’t imagine too many people are stoked Laura decided to take him back, not to mention that he looks someone who would go on that Vh1 reality show The Pickup Artist and come in third.
It’s a tale as old as Yikes: a man gets accused of some highly disgusting and messed up domestic abuse, and then he says that the woman accusing him is a psychotic lying bitch. This time the alleged domestic abuser if one of the creators of The Bachelor, Mike Fleiss, and the accuser is his wife, former Miss America Laura Fleiss whom he filed for divorce from last week–pictured above before they got married with a much hotter dude in between them.
Ellen Pompeo Defends Kelly Ripa’s Hatred Of “The Bachelorette” While Hannah Brown Does Damage Control
The battle of the ABC shows started with Kelly Ripa slamming The Bachelor and The Bachelorette saying it “disgusts” her because she hates seeing women fight with each other over a man. This set off a fire storm of conflict (sort of). The producer of the show Mike Fleiss checked Kelly on Twitter and so did Bachelor host Chris Harrison. Well don’t worry Kelly, because you have people on your side, too. Specifically one of the highest paid actresses on network television, Grey’s Anatomy‘s Head Bitch: Ellen Pompeo.
