Meryl Streep Scratched Back At Rose McGowan
When Meryl Streep heard the news about Harvey Weinstein’s alleged decades of creep terror, her wacky glasses damn near dropped off her face from the shock. Meryl claimed she knew nothing about Harvey’s “reputation,” but that she was disgusted nonetheless. Later she referred to what he allegedly did as a “gargantuan example of disrespect.”
That last word – disrespect – really rubbed Rose McGowan the wrong way. Rose hissed at Meryl that it’s not disrespect, it’s a crime, and proceeded to call Meryl “a lie.” Rose came for Meryl again last weekend after it was reported that some actresses will be silently protesting Hollywood’s sexual harassment problem by wearing black to the Golden Globes. Rose accused Meryl of putting the silent in silent protest while happily collecting awards from the industry. Meryl is calling bullshit on Rose’s comments.
Open Post: Hosted By The Leaked Trailer For “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again”
Cher! That’s Cher as a sassy, rich gramma! Wait. Did they kill off Meryl Streep? In the trailer, they’re talking about her like she’s in the ground. Did Rose McGowan write the screenplay?
Watch it before they yank it!

This looks all sorts of awful, much like the first one. The first one was all sorts of awful but still somewhat enjoyable if only for laughing at Pierce Brosnan trying to sing. But a sequel means lesser-known ABBA songs and a girl that looks nothing like Meryl playing Young Meryl. Did anyone need to know the history of those overalls? Nope.
If Meryl is actually in this movie, it would reunite her with her Silkwood castmate Cher. Silkwood is a boss-ass movie and Cher won the Oscar for her portrayal of a depressed lesbian roommate. One of my friends is probably going to force me to go see this with them and that will make me a depressed lesbian roommate.

Rose McGowan Thinks The Golden Globes Black Dress Protest Idea Sucks
Many actresses are planning to do a silent protest against sexual harassment in Hollywood by wearing black to the Golden Globes and other awards show, and there’s one person who is not impressed and that’s Rose McGowan.
Don’t Hold Your Breath For That “Charmed” Reunion
You remember in the first Scream movie when Rose McGowan’s character tried to escape through the doggie access in the garage door and that asshole Ghostface flipped the switch? And she got smooshed? Well, that’s what Rose has been doing to Hollywood since she became one of the first female celebrities to speak openly about Harvey Weinstein. Showbiz has been trying to escape out the doggie door and Rose is smooshing those fools!
Sometime back, Rose shaved her head, said “EFF IT” to her career, loosened her cannon, and started tweeting. Since the Weinstein situation broke, she’s been calling everyone out in Hollywood whom she feels is either an abuser or complicit in said abuse.Take for example, her former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano. Despite Alyssa’s now famous tweet urging her followers to use the #MeToo hashtag (that was started by social activist Tarana Burke in 2006), Rose remains unimpressed. Specifically, because Alyssa has also been going to bat for Harvey Weinstein’s now ex-wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman. Much like you won’t see Rose wearing Marchesa anytime soon, you also won’t see her signing on to a Charmed reunion. Rose went in on Alyssa on Twitter on Friday. Eh, once you fire Shannen Doherty, your show is going to suck anyways. Continue reading
Meryl Streep Kind Of Defended Dustin Hoffman Over A Groping Story
After the Harvey Weinstein dam broke, sexual misconduct accusations about Hollywood’s powerful men gushed everywhere. Two women have come forward saying Dustin Hoffman sexually assaulted them, including one who was only 17 when he was 47. It made a few news outlets run with an old 1979 Time interview where Meryl Streep said put his hand on her breast, because that’s totally a normal and non-creepy way to greet a possible co-worker. Meryl is now saying that the story was misleading. Continue reading
“Mamma Mia 2” Will Bring The “Silkwood” Reunion We All Needed
It’s hard to have a movie that’s all about dancing queens and not include the pop star icon who induces oh-so-many queens to dance, which is why Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will include the biggest icon of them all: Cher!
