The Engagement’s Back On For Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Her Fiancé Ken
I don’t know how one has a whirlwind romance in prison, but Gypsy Rose Blanchard somehow managed a lightning fast on again, off again, and back on again relationship within the span of just a few months, despite the notoriously slow pace of the U.S. Postal Service. Just yesterday it was reported that Gypsy and Ken, her fiancé of about 4 months (and the one behind her in the pic above), were over. A source told InTouch that “Gypsy and Ken are brokenhearted over the situation” and that “they each intend on taking some time apart to focus on themselves as individuals”. I guess Gypsy had an active night of focusing on herself because today her step-mom, Kristy Blanchard, says they’ve been reunited. Who knew staring at oneself in a scratched up shaving mirror for a couple of hours was equivalent to years of intense therapy. I’ve wasted so much time and money!

Just when I thought true love had died, Gypsy Rose Blanchard showed off her new fiancé and proved that love is stronger than a silly prison sentence for killing your abusive mom. Gypsy met her new fiancé, Ken, through a prison pen pal exchange program and now he’s making his public debut as her man on Instagram. Gypsy could get out in 2023 if her parole is approved, so she and Ken could make it onto a future season of Love After Lockup.

Gypsy’s been on the receiving end of plenty of attention since she was sent to prison for second degree murder for her role in the stabbing death of her mother and abuser, Dee Dee Blanchard. Gypsy’s no longer involved with her co-conspirator and knife wielding ex-boyfriend Nick Godejohn, who is serving a life sentence for first degree murder. Gypsy has a new beau now, and they’re engaged to be married. According to Us Weekly, the couple met through the prison pen pal program.
