Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Engaged To Her Prison Pen Pal

Prison love is in the air. Can you smell it? It smells like industrial cleaner and canned corn. If you haven’t watched the spellbinding documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest yet, what is wrong with you? If you haven’t seen that one, then maybe you have been watching the story of Münchausen syndrome by proxy victim Gypsy Rose Blanchard unfold on the Hulu show The Act. Gypsy’s been on the receiving end of plenty of attention since she was sent to prison for second degree murder for her role in the stabbing death of her mother and abuser, Dee Dee Blanchard. Gypsy’s no longer involved with her co-conspirator and knife wielding ex-boyfriend Nick Godejohn, who is serving a life sentence for first degree murder. Gypsy has a new beau now, and they’re engaged to be married. According to Us Weekly, the couple met through the prison pen pal program.
