The Engagement’s Back On For Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Her Fiancé Ken

I don’t know how one has a whirlwind romance in prison, but Gypsy Rose Blanchard somehow managed a lightning fast on again, off again, and back on again relationship within the span of just a few months, despite the notoriously slow pace of the U.S. Postal Service. Just yesterday it was reported that Gypsy and Ken, her fiancé of about 4 months (and the one behind her in the pic above), were over. A source told InTouch that “Gypsy and Ken are brokenhearted over the situation” and that “they each intend on taking some time apart to focus on themselves as individuals”. I guess Gypsy had an active night of focusing on herself because today her step-mom, Kristy Blanchard, says they’ve been reunited. Who knew staring at oneself in a scratched up shaving mirror for a couple of hours was equivalent to years of intense therapy. I’ve wasted so much time and money!

InTouch reports:

Looks like that breakup didn’t last long! The same day news broke that Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her fiancé, Ken, had called off their engagement, the family reveals that it’s back on. Though the couple has decided to keep their relationship private, Gypsy’s step-mom, Kristy Blanchard, exclusively confirmed to In Touch that the two had reunited. Though she didn’t reveal what had caused the rift, she did share that the January wedding the couple planned is back on.

“They are back together,” Kristy exclusively told In Touch. “[The] engagement is on, but [they are] taking things slow and want to keep their relationship as private as possible.” The mother of three revealed that, “for now,” Gypsy, 28, and her fiancé have postponed plans to tie the knot once the new year rolls around in 2020. “But things can change,” she admitted. “And if it changes, … the rest will be kept private until they are ready for people to know. … [They] are keeping their personal lives personal from here on out.”

Well, we’ll see how long that lasts. I wonder who it was that leaked the break-up in the first place. The other major player in this saga is “family friendFancy Macelli, who “is chronicling Gypsy’s life with her mother in a TV show” titled By Proxy. Yes, another one! Gypsy was already featured in the documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest on HBO and was played by Joey King in the fictionalized version of her story called The Act. We don’t need another TV show about Gypsy. Maybe Fancy can pivot and make us a TV show about her name-twin Fancy from my favorite Reba McEntire song instead.

Leave Gypsy be. Here’s your one chance Fancy, don’t let me down!
