“Grease” Actor Eddie Deezen Has Been Accused Of Harassing A Waitress Over Her Fake Eyelashes
And now for something completely different and random. Eddie Deezen is a 64-year-old actor best known for playing that total nerd Eugene (not Doody or Putzie, also pictured above) in Grease and Grease 2. He appeared in I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Beverly Hills Vamp, Midnight Madness, and did voiceover work on Dexter’s Laboratory, Kim Possible, and Polar Express. TMZ says that Eddie is also really, really into eyelashes.
Olivia Newton-John Is Selling Her Bad Sandy Pants From “Grease”
Apparently it’s the week of iconic clothing sales. And this latest sale is great news if you have ever dreamed of squeezing the last ounce of feeling from your legs in some vintage stretch fabric, all in the name of bringing out your inner Bad Sandy from Grease. Sadly, the opportunity for such an experience is limited to those with an extra $200,000 lying around.
HBO Max Is Making A Musical TV Show Called “Grease: Rydell High”
1950s nostalgia was already gross and weird in the ‘70s and ‘80s so it makes perfect sense to bring it back once again for #thesetryingtimes. TVLine reports that HBO Max is working on a TV show called Grease: Rydell High “a musical spinoff of the iconic movie.” But really, wasn’t Glee enough, or do we really have to add unspoken segregation and hot rods into the mix? Let me not give Lea Michele any ideas. Lea, you’re too old to be Sandy and don’t pull that “but Olivia Newton John was… wah wah wah” bullshit with me!
“Grease” Is Getting A Movie Prequel Because Ruining Things Is Fun
The 1978 classic movie musical Grease is getting a prequel, because leaving well enough alone is not something Hollywood is interested in fucking with anymore, and for the sake of $$$ they really think we want to know why Olivia Newton-John got so hard up for John Travolta that she changed herself to be with him and later ended up chained up to radiator at Gold Base after she tried to leave him because she didn’t want to be in Scientology anymore (I’m guessing that’s what happens in the follow-up to Grease).
