Tom Cruise better start plumping up his bosom because Little Lord David Mascivage is going to need something pillowy to rest his head on as he weeps since one of Scientology’s very own is probably headed to the chokey. About six months after Danny Masterson’s first rape trial ended with a hung jury, the jury in his retrial found him GUILTY of two out of three counts of forcible rape. They were deadlocked on the third charge. Danny’s smug ass could be locked away for 30 years. So everyone, time to update your title for Danny Masterson from “That ’70s Show star” to “Convicted Rapist.

In 2017 we learned that several former Scientologists went to the LAPD to report Danny for drugging and assaulting them. One of the women went to the cops after Scientologist turned Anti-Scientology Warrior Queen Leah Remini urged her to. Leah also talked to the LAPD in support of the victims and let the cops know that she knows that members of the LAPD are in bed with Scientology. As the LAPD investigated Danny, more women came forward. In 2020, Danny was officially charged with three counts of rape by force. All three women were members of Scientology at the time of their assaults, which happened between 2001 and 2003. The women went to the heads of Scientology, but shockingly, instead of getting embraced in a warmth of support, they were met with threats. They told police that Scientology officials called them liars, forced them to undergo ethics programs, and threatened to label them as an SP (“Suppressive Person,” aka enemy of Scientology) if they went to the cops. Danny denied the claims and said that it was “consensual.”

Danny’s first trial began last October in Los Angeles and ended in November with the jury deadlocking on all three charges. Danny’s lawyers have been trying hard to get the case dismissed, but his wish never came true, and his retrial started on April 24 and ended on May 12. During Danny’s retrial, he never took the stand, and his lawyers never called any witnesses. This time around, the jury heard about Scientology’s policies from a former official. The jury of seven women and five men deliberated for a total of seven days spread out over two weeks. In the end, they all agreed he was guilty on two counts but couldn’t agree on the third count. via Variety:

Danny Masterson, the former star of “That ’70s Show,” was convicted Wednesday on two counts of forcible rape.

The jury could not reach a verdict on a third rape charge, deadlocking with a vote of 8-4 in favor of conviction.

Masterson faces a potential sentence of 30 years to life in prison on the two charges. Shortly after the clerk read the guilty verdicts, there was an audible gasp from Masterson’s family, who were seated in the audience.

Masterson was accused of raping three women at his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003. The jury convicted him of raping two women in 2003, but could not reach a verdict pertaining to an allegation from November 2001 involving a former girlfriend.

ABC News says that 47-year-old Danny was led away from the courtroom in handcuffs as his wife, Bijou Phillips, cried. A sentencing hearing hasn’t been scheduled yet, but the next hearing in the case has been set for August 4. Two of the women gave statements after the verdict was read:

“I am experiencing a complex array of emotions — relief, exhaustion, strength, sadness — knowing that my abuser, Danny Masterson, will face accountability for his criminal behavior,” one of the women, whom Masterson was convicted of raping at his home in 2003, said in a statement.

The woman, whose count left the jury deadlocked, said in the statement: “While I’m encouraged that Danny Masterson will face some criminal punishment, I am devastated that he has dodged criminal accountability for his heinous conduct against me.”

Leah Remini supported the victims in court and claimed that Danny’s lawyers tried to get her kicked out of the courtroom. After today’s verdict, Leah praised the women as heroes and promised that this is just the beginning of their plan to make Scientology accountable:

Leah is truly a woman of many talents. I mean, she somehow managed to tweet that message of hope and support while doing cartwheels of victory through the courtroom as Danny was carted off to where he belongs.
