Bill Hader and Ali Wong Are Dating Again After Splitting Up For A Second Last Year
Last December, it was reported that comedians Bill Hader and Ali Wong were a thing for a few months before breaking up. They supposedly broke up because both were “super busy.” But I guess their schedules are now clear enough for them to start boning each other again.
Bill was busting at the seams to reveal the news since he made sure to tell Collider how badly he needs a vacation and unsolicitedly slipped in, “My girlfriend and I were talking and she brought it up that I haven’t had a vacation in 10 years.” Um- just say you’re dating Ali Wong, or don’t mention her at all. But actually, after that interview with Collider made the rounds, Bill’s rep confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that “Bill Hader and Ali Wong are dating again.”
Before Ali, Bill dated Anna Kendrick and Rachel Bilson. Before Bill, Ali was married to entrepreneur/her comedy special subject, Justin Hakuta, from 2014 to last year. They share two kids. Bill and Ali were keeping their status on the DL since Ali’s fresh outta her split with the father of her kids, according to Page Six:
Another source at the time told us they were being careful not to let the romance become public knowledge.
“Only a small circle of A-list comedians know and everyone was thrilled about it. [Their friends] helped them protect the relationship in light of Ali’s divorce,” they told us.
The split was extremely short-lived and it appears they are now ready for the world to know that they are an item. We hear they were spotted in Wong’s hometown back in January.
Wait. I’m going to channel my inner Detective La Toya Jackson for a sec and point out that if they split in December as Page Six reported, that means they either never split up or were split up for about a millisecond before getting back together in January. But if Bill and Ali stay together for a while, then I’m guessing her next comedy special will be about him. And if Rachel was telling the truth about Bill’s massive crotch snake, then Ali “Baby Cobra” Wong’s next special will probably be called King Cobra Crotch.
