Bill Hader And Rachel Bilson Broke Up

For those of you who forgot that Bill Hader and Rachel Bilson are a thing, I’m here to remind you that they WERE and the emphasis on the WERE since they apparently broke up. Bill Hader is 42 and Rachel Bilson is 38 so maybe the universe threw a lightning bolt to their union after thinking, “Wait, a 40-something Hollywood dude is not dating a 19-year-old Instagram model? This is unnatural and not right. End it! End it!”
We first found out about Bill and Rachel in December when someone took a picture of them getting coffee together in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Bill is from. Then they made their love red carpet official in January at the Golden Globes. But People says that six months later, they’re done with each other!
The Barry star, 42, and The O.C. alumna, 38, have amicably split, multiple sources tell PEOPLE.
Hader’s rep was unavailable for comment. A rep for Bilson did not immediately respond.
I have to say, Bill used to give me creepy basement serial killer vibes no more than two years ago. But ever since he started playing a depressed assassin on that show “Barry” and had to actually start going around to award shows in a fancy tuxedo with at least a base tan and a little scruff…I STILL get creepy serial killer vibes, but with a mild, DILF-y twist. And Rachel, well, I LITERALLY only know her from those Magnum commercials (no, not THOSE magnums). To me, it was a strange pairing but apparently it was a “fun” pairing.
Back in February, just after the Golde Globes, a source said that they’re relationship is fun and that it was getting serious:
“They spend a lot of time together and it seems like a serious relationship,” the source said at the time. “They were in L.A. over the Valentine’s Day weekend. On Sunday, they enjoyed a getaway to the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach.”
“It seems like a fun relationship,” the source said, adding that Bilson “always seems entertained,” around Hader. “She won’t stop laughing when she’s with Bill,” the source continued. “He is very sweet and considerate to her. Quick to open doors and acts very attentive.”
Something I didn’t know (unless you’re fans of either of them, there’s not much to sift through) is that Rachel and Bill starred in the romantic comedy “The To Do List” back in 2013––a movie that was directed by Bill’s at-the-time wife, Maggie Carey. Escandalo! But really, Bill, if making people laugh is what you’re into, call me. I’m really good at it. That, and I can wolf down a Magnum in less than ten seconds.
