NeNe Leakes Fought With Facetune On Instagram

If you’ve seen the plethora of pinched-nosed, snatched-waisted, velvety-smooth skinned Kardashian Klonebots who pollute our Instagram feeds, then you’re familiar with the capabilities of the photo editing/filtering app, Facetune, and that some people use it more skillfully than others. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of laying your eyes upon NeNe Leakes’ Instagram contributions, it’s a masterclass in how not to use it, and she’s even been referred to as a “Facetune fiend.” Now that her “Trump Checks” probably bounce and/or she’s at risk of her nose fleeing her face if she has one more rhinoplasty, Facetune has become her chosen medium for facefuckery. Although the pics she posts look like she gets into a losing fight with Facetune every day, this time she got into it with the app in the comment section.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta dropout, 54, posted a pic of herself on Monday grasping the leaves on a bush, as one does, and captioned it “Loving on me! Yung 404.” The whites of her eyes were the same shade of white as her shirt and her skin was as smooth as a dolphin’s ass, so the editing was pretty obvious. Here’s the post:

Facetune (who I’m sure knew EXACTLY what they were doing) pulled on up to the comments to show one of their most prolific over-users some love, commenting: “We are loving you ❤️.” NeNe didn’t like that they piped up, and decided to clap back, according to Page Six:

Leakes fired back, “Um this is a professional photo shoot. Stop the madness.”

And that’s when the crowd went wild, calling NeNe out:

“As if professional photographers don’t use Facetune? Lol😂😂😂,” one person replied, while another argued, “All that means is that somebody got paid for the work and they didn’t use the app 😂.”

The jokes were endless, with commenters leaving messages like, “Not FaceTune stirring up drama,” “Lmao! Props to FaceTune for that comment 😂👏🏻👏🏻😂” and “LMFAO THE CLAP BACK OF 2022. Facetune for the WIN 😂😂😂😂😂.”

Comments left on numerous other pictures Leakes has posted to her feed include: “Why she look white?? 😂😂😂,” “Everyone on here just lying to this cartoon character like she looks nice🤢🤢🤢,” “Look fake😢,” “Photo shop ain’t no joke. We all could look that good,” “Is that really Nene👌🏾👏👏” and “Edited and doesn’t look like that.”

NeNe is the first to roast other people for lesser offenses–like that time she ridiculed her now deceased husband, Gregg Leakes, on Twitter for being “mean, grouchy, and evil” during his cancer treatments, or that time she wished rape upon a heckler at her stand-up comedy show (and I’m sure that heckling was deserved, because unless NeNe showed her Facetuned pics to the audience, her material likely wasn’t funny; bellowing “BLOOP” and “Wiiiiig!” can only take you so far). So, she should be able to handle a slightly suggestive comment, but clearly couldn’t.

No comment from Facetune on their fresh feud with NeNe, but she’s busy battling several lawsuits right now (see here and here), so it’s probably best that they just quietly back away from her messiness and find someone like Tori Spelling’s comment section because she’d just do what any good Facetune user does and claim that it’s “contouring.”
