Tori Spelling Swears She Didn’t Get A Kardashian Kopy Nose Job, It’s Just Contouring
This has got to be bittersweet news for the Kardashian family. On one hand, Khloé Kardashian is no doubt relieved that Tori Spelling isn’t committed to permanently stealing her identity. On the other, Kris Jenner would have loved to have signed Tori to her roster of talent. We know Khloé can fill in for one of her sisters at a moment’s notice, but who fills in for Khloé? It’s always nice to have a backup, but Kris shall look elsewhere for that. As Tori has recently explained that she’s still just plain old Tori underneath her makeup because that’s what her new face is – just makeup.
For the past little while, Tori Spelling has been looking a whole lot like Khloé Kardashian, which is to say Tori has been rocking some serious Generic Instagram Face on social media. It was anyone’s guess as to what was happening there. Personally, I figured her recent facial transformation was the result of wanting to go incognito in her own home, to avoid getting cornered by her estranged husband Dean McDermott, begging her to make a trip to her mother’s home to root around in the couch cushions and pocket whatever cash she finds so they can get divorced. But lots of people figured Tori trotted off to a surgeon’s office with Khloé’s six latest selfies in hand and asked for the works. Last week, Tori appeared on Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live, where she finally addressed the gossip about her face. via People magazine:
“First of all, I have an amazing makeup artist now. Her name is Hailey Hoff and, with contour, she does makeup like no one else,” Spelling replied. “I look completely different. I look like I’ve had a nose job and it’s straight now.”
Tori also joked that she doesn’t look like she does in person as she does in Instagram pictures. This isn’t exactly a revelation, since Tori’s Instagram pictures often have so much digital editing applied to them, it could take a whole server farm to process her pics.
Of course, a lot of Tori’s Instagram representation is the result of filters and editing, but if you look at the picture up top, you can see that there is some pretty obvious contouring down the sides of her nose, as well as that tell-tale skinny white stripe down the middle. Not to mention that Tori has been candid about her surgeries in the past, admitting to getting a boob job and a nose job in her younger years. So any similarities between Tori and Khloé might be the result of an ABH contour kit and a little FaceTune and nothing more.
I know Tori has been known to play fast and loose with the truth, but I believe her when she says it’s makeup and not surgery. Don’t most surgery clinics make you secure your procedure with a non-refundable deposit first? Everyone knows her financial situation, so no self-respecting plastic surgery receptionist would even let her in the door.
