Rihanna Reportedly Gave Birth To A Baby Boy Last Week
Did you just hear a languished, frustrated scream sent into the ether? It wasn’t Rihanna giving birth, it was all the people who just heard she gave birth last week and realized that our eyes will no longer be gifted all the showstopping glamour of Rihanna turning out not-maternity maternity looks. But Rihanna has better things to worry about, like her and A$AP Rocky’s baby who she gave birth to last Friday.
Rihanna had been showing up and showing out for a good chunk of her third trimester. She even attended a rave-themed baby shower in her honor last month, which is brave of her, considering the third trimester is usually the trimester where politeness leaps out the window, and a pregnant person might find themselves hissing stuff like, “YOU can shower whatever the fuck you want baby, but I’m staying here in my pajamas and the last remaining pair of shoes my 20-inch swollen ankles will fit in.” So naturally, I was expecting to see Rihanna waltz effortlessly into the ER in a pair of 6-inch heels, breathlessly explaining that she’s there to have a baby. That’s right, it’s the couple’s first kid together — sources with direct knowledge tell us he was born on May 13 in Los Angeles — but we don’t yet know his name.
The last time Rihanna was seen in public was on Mother’s Day weekend when she and A$AP Rocky went out for dinner in Los Angeles. According to TMZ’s calculations, Rihanna reportedly gave birth five days after this picture was taken.
