Zoë Kravitz Wore A Catwoman Inspired Dress For The NYC Premiere Of “The Batman”
Hello Titty! Zoë Kravitz put her best paw forward on the red carpet for the New York City premiere of The Batman wearing a custom velvet Oscar de la Renta gown with kitty titty cups to remind everyone that she is playing Catwoman Selina Kyle in the movie. However, much to Zoë’s embarrassment, it seems the rest of the cast forgot the memo, and instead of wearing the rubber penguin beak codpiece they discussed, Colin Farrell just wore a plain gray suit. And Robert Pattinson was supposed to wear Batty Boy’s hat from Hollywood Shuffle, but he didn’t. Paul Dano is the only other cast member who remembered the theme. Paul’s suit is screaming “Riddle me this, what the hell was I thinking?”
According to Diet Prada, the cat breast cups are similar to a 1989 Helmut Lang creation.
There’s something about the cat head placement on Zoë’s dress that bothers me. I feel like they should either be in profile or spaced farther out towards her armpits. Either the illusion is bad, or those two cats are all puffed up and ready to scrap. And they don’t care whose conspicuous navel gets shredded in the process! Zoë also dressed on theme for last week’s London premiere in a custom Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello which signaled The Batman to come to her underboob lair.
I hope all this dress-up means that Zoë is planning on slinking into a showing once it hits theaters wearing a custom catsuit made from real cat fur inspired by the cat breasts from the movie Cats. What a thrill it will be to sit with an actual audience after all her hard work to hear them all laugh, cry and sneeze together. Nicole Kidman can keep her “perfect and powerful“ stories. There’s nothing like going to the theater and turning around to see a tiny lady dressed up like a cat scratching the back of your chair. That, my friends, is the magic of CINEMA!
