Ioan Gruffud Asks For A Restraining Order Against His Estranged Wife Alice Evans
Ioan Gruffud and Alice Evans first met on the set of 2000’s 102 Dalmatians and based on the way she’s been going on the past year or so, you’d think she played Cruella de Vil. Because ever since Ioan and Alice split up in January 2021, she’s been going off on him and really turned it up when he moved on and started dating actress Bianca Wallace (Alice claims the two were having an affair for three years before going public but they deny that). Ioan tells the court that shit has gotten so bad and so scary that he needs a restraining order against Alice. And in his petition for a domestic abuse restraining order, he included over 100 pages of unhinged and obsessive texts, DMs, tweets, Instagram posts, and emails that the blonde lady version of Kanye West sent him ever since their breakup. Ioan also claims that Alice threatened to go Gone Girl on him by making a fake diary where she’d accuse him of abuse. Divorce lawyers for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made a mental note to say to themselves, “Well at least my client isn’t Ioan Gruffud or Alice Evans,” the next time one of them calls screaming about something.
48-year-old Ioan and 53-year-old Alice got married in 2007. They share two daughters: 12-year-old Ella and 8-year-old Elsie. In his request for a restraining order, Ioan says that he told Alice he wasn’t happy in their marriage in August 2020, and they separated in January 2021. Ioan filed for divorce in March 2021. Ioan claims that before they separated, Alice threatened to destroy him AND his mother (DAMN!). And as anyone who has been following this train wreck in a landfill fire knows, Alice has dragged Ioan on social media and on television. Ioan mentions that in his filing. via People:
“Alice told me verbally multiple times that she would do to me what Amber Heard did to Johnny Depp,” Gruffudd continued in the petition. “Alice threatened to tell people I had abused her and our daughters; she threatened to call the police on me if I did not comply with her demands; she threatened to tell people I am a drug addict and put me in prison; she threatened to write a fake diary that reflected an abused victim, and to have the diary published; and she threatened to destroy my mother.”
Gruffudd added, “Alice told me she would win, and everyone would believe her over me.”
The Fantastic Four actor said Evans had “carried out many of these threats” since he had moved out of their family residence in 2021, including writing “many false and harassing” social media posts as well as “hundreds of harassing, abusive and threatening communications by text, voice message, video message.” Gruffudd claimed she even sent “threatening emails” to his mother, Margaret Griffiths.
Ioan adds that both he and his lawyers asked her to stop, but stop, she did not and continued to harass and threaten him, his girlfriend Bianca, and his mother. And so Ioan stopped answering her calls altogether around March/April 2021.
All of the texts and emails that Alice sent to Ioan and Ioan’s mother have been made public. Just skimming through that manipulative mess made my already melted brain melt more. Alice goes on about how Ioan’s career is in the shit can, how disgusting his face is to her, and on and on and on. It’s also obvious that she’s trying to turn their daughters against him while guaranteeing her daughters a lifetime of therapy. And she even dragged Dominic West, John Travolta, Rock Hudson (CAN’T HE REST IN PEACE?!), and Tom Cruise into it. Here’s just a little taste of the evidence that Ioan submitted with his restraining order request:
Ioan is asking the court to order Alice to stay at least 100 yards away from him and Bianca Wallace and to not contact either of them. In Alice’s response to Ioan’s restraining order request, she denies threatening or harassing him and his girlfriend and says she hasn’t seen him since January 2021 and hasn’t talked to him on the phone since October 2021. via People:
“However, this I know for certain: I have not hit, struck, attacked, threatened, assaulted, harassed, followed, stalked, molested, destroyed the personal property of, kept under surveillance, impersonated, blocked the movement of, annoyed by phone or electronic means by repeated contact, or disturbed the peace of either” Gruffudd or Wallace, Evans said in her response.
Evans added that while she didn’t know what Gruffudd would accuse her of, she knew “whatever allegations he is going to make against me are false.”
Ioan didn’t include his responses to Alice in his filing, but all of her emails and texts could be put into a book called: Reasons To Stay Single FOREVER.
