Ioan Gruffud Filed For Divorce From Alice Evans And She Claims She Found Out When Everyone Else Did

In January, Alice Evans slid into her therapist’s office (read: social media) and let everyone know that after 13 years of marriage, her husband Ioan Gruffudd gave a one-week notice as her husband and was leaving her. Obviously, the next step was for Ioan to make his resignation official by filing for divorce, and he’s done just that, but while that move seemed like the definition of inevitable to all of us, Alice claims that she found out through The Daily Mail. And that unleashed an oversharing river of raw emotions to pour out of Alice and onto Instagram. Alice dragged Ioan and then slapped at those who say she’s a level 10 oversharer and makes Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard look like human Privacy Please signs with industrial-strength locks on their mouths.

47-year-old Ioan Gruffudd and 49-year-old Alice Evans met on the set of 2000’s 102 Dalmations. They got married in 2007 and made two daughters together: 11-year-old Ella and 7-year-old Elsie. After Alice announced that Ioan quit their marriage, a publicist finally got a hold of them and they released a joint statement, confirming they’re done and asked for privacy. Well, I don’t think Alice Evans read that joint statement, because she continued to spill on Instagram about her split, saying that she still loves Ioan but knows they’re never going to get back together.

And yesterday, The Blast reported that Ioan filed for divorce from Alice in Los Angeles Superior Court. It’s not known what kind of child custody and financial situation Ioan is seeking, but what is known is that Alice posted a screenshot of The Daily Mail’s post about the divorce and suggested that she got the news from them first:

Alice is going through it because she did not stop there. In the middle of the night, her Instagrammin’ finger pulled her out of bed and she could not resist the urge to activate the MESS switch. Alice posted what looks like one of her headshots, and then went in on a couple of targets. The first was Ioan whose behavior she hopes doesn’t affect their daughters’ relationships in the future, and she went on about how he’s probably going to get mad about her posting on Instagram since “mad” is his only emotion. Alice’s second target was the people who are telling her to keep her private marriage issues on the SHUSH and she compared that to silencing victims of abuse:

But Alice didn’t end there and after she swiped away the pop-up message on her screen that read, “Alice, are you sure you want to keep fucking going?“, she kept going and issued another fuck you to those telling her to have some dignity. Alice also accused Ioan of locking her out of her Twitter account:

That part where Alice said that she showed the article about Ioan divorcing her to their 7-year-old daughter… This may be the first time I non-sarcastically use: WON’T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?! Ioan and Alice aren’t even thirty seconds into their divorce and it’s already a flaming mess that children are publicly being dragged into. Somewhere, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have stopped fighting to get together and say, “Okay, everyone here needs to calm down..
