Now Chrissy Teigen Has Lost A Voiceover Job

Since no one really wants to hear, let alone pay for, anything that rage-barfs from Chrissy Teigen’s mouth, the latest income stream to go full “quit that bitch” on the professional mean girl and part-time Twitter flouncer is Netflix’s comedy series, Never Have I Ever.

This latest loss joins the sad pile of dusty cookware boxes evicted by Target, Macy’s, and Bloomingdale’s, so hopefully, one of the saucepans will hop out of the box and whip up something comforting (and hopefully not plagiarized) from Chrissy’s cookbook to ease the sting of rejection. Who could have seen this cascade of consequences coming back in 2011, when Chrissy, the self-described “insecure, attention-seeking troll,” wished death upon then 16-year-old Courtney Stodden?

via Deadline:

An episode from the upcoming second season of Netflix’s coming-of-age comedy series Never Have I Ever, featuring voiceover by Chrissy Teigen, will not air as originally produced.

“Chrissy Teigen has decided to step away from a guest voiceover role in one episode of the upcoming second season of Never Have I Ever,” a spokesperson for the show said. “The role is expected to be recast.”

No details about the role are being disclosed but it is believed to be a guest narrator stint.

This is the latest fallout from the growing controversy surrounding Teigen, which started when she was accused of cyber bullying by former reality star Courtney Stodden.

Courtney, for their part, is still waiting for an apology for Chrissy’s cruelty and claims Chrissy still has them blocked on Twitter and hasn’t reached out privately. In the meantime, Courtney has been living their best life by getting engaged.

Maybe it was truly Chrissy’s idea to proactively step away from the role, or perhaps Netflix was just being gracious here in their wording. Whatever the case may be, everyone on the show can now heave a huge sigh of relief, as they no longer need to live in fear that Chrissy will be overtaken by a tidal wave of spontaneous and ill-placed hatred and go off script to insult the main character, a handful of terrified extras and probably the sound engineer, just because.
