Courtney Stodden Got Engaged

Man oh man, Courtney Stodden has accomplished a lot the last few weeks! Not only did 26-year-old Courtney destroy Chrissy Tiegen’s career, but they also got engaged to their on-again/off-again boyfriend Chris Sheng. Chris is 41 years old and works as a producer. The couple started dating back in 2017 when Courtney was splitting up with their pervert ex-husband Doug Hutchison. Chris asked Courtney to marry him last Friday during a romantic candlelit dinner. Two days later Courtney announced the big news on Instagram and showed off their massive diamond ring, which they say “made me gag.” Well, you’re not supposed to swallow it, Court!

Chris also posted about the engagement and wrote about how much he and Courtney have grown, how he feels blessed and fortunate, and how he will always be Courtney’s rock:

Chris’ caption is nice, and although I don’t really know shit about this dude’s personality, we can safely assume he’s a step up from 61-year-old abuser Doug Hutchison. Last year Courtney spoke to Us Weekly about dating Chris:

“It isn’t easy to believe in love,” Stodden added. “It’s hard for me to completely open up to him and trust. I’m constantly pulling back and criticizing everything about everything. I need time to heal and hopefully I can learn how to love again fully.”

Last summer the Courtney briefly canoodled with Brian Austin Green in a hot tub. Later BAG accused Courtney of using him. So methinks he won’t be invited to the wedding. Neither will Doug. Or Chrissy Tiegz. Or her husband, John Legend. It’s too bad, actually, cuz when I think “John Legend” I immediately think “Diane Warren-schmaltzy-type music that’s perfect for corny weddings.”
