Kristin Cavallari And Jay Cutler Might Have Hinted About Getting Back Together

Back in April, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler announced that they were getting a divorce after a decade together (seven years of which were spent married). This came as a shock to everyone who saw them just a few weeks earlier on a happy family vacation in the Bahamas. At the time, Jay and Kristin claimed they weren’t quarantining in the US because they were “stuck” in the Bahamas, which was likely not the whole truth and nothing but the truth. And if a vaguely-worded Instagram post filled with implied meaning can count as evidence, then maybe they also weren’t telling the whole truth about ending their marriage, either.
Kristin and Jay have done damn near everything to make it seem as though their relationship is dunzo, like when Kristin filed for divorce and accused Jay of “marital misconduct.” Or swearing that their marriage didn’t end because Jay couldn’t stay out of other women’s end zones. There were also sources who claimed Kristin thought Jay was “lazy,” and that Jay was withholding money so that Kristin couldn’t buy a home. And then, there was the revelation that Jay Cutler is exactly the dude you thought he was when he was rumored to be dating Tomi Lahren (although she denied it). Then Kristin herself came out and said that her divorce was a long time in the making and that she was “really proud” of her choice to split from Jay. That alone made it seem like Kristin was done done with Jay Cutler. And yet, just three days ago she posted the above picture to Instagram with the caption: “The world is full of users. 10 years. Can’t break that.”
2003 me would have absolutely stolen that caption for my MySpace quote, right after my part-time job told me I couldn’t bail on my Friday night shift to see my boyfriend’s punk band play to a crowd of 40 in a community center. So thank you for that, Kristin. But it doesn’t really explain much. The ten years is self-explanatory – they first started dating in 2010. And technically they can’t fully break away from each other, due to the fact that they share three children: 8-year-old Camden Jack, 6-year-old Jaxon Wyatt, and 5-year-old Saylor James. But the users? Who are these users she so aggressively accuses the world of being chock full of? If BuzzFeed’s investigative journalism is to be trusted, then this might be about two cast members from Southern Charm.
Just last month, Kristin was fighting off rumors that she had slid into the DMs of Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll. Austen used to date fellow Southern Charm person Madison LeCroy. A few weeks after the Kristin/Austen DM debacle, Jay was rumored to have been seen visiting Madison’s hometown. When asked on Watch What Happens Live about Kristin and Austin, Madison claimed she was too busy with her own “adventure.” When pressed further about if her adventure involved Jay Cutler, she said she doesn’t kiss and tell. The day before Kristin posted that Instagram picture above, Madison had hopped on Instagram Live, wherein she implied Jay Cutler was “relieved” he was no longer with Kristin Cavallari and talked shit about Kristin’s parenting.
That’s when Kristin posted her selfie with her ex and a message to users. Well, Madison had a response for that too. She published what she claims are text messages between herself and Jay Cutler, and they kind of make it seem like he was the one pursuing her.

And to this I say, all of this over JAY CUTLER?! Do you know how many plaid-shirted truck-driving football-loving basic boring hetero shaggy trimmed beard country bros there are in the sea? So many. Just pull into a Bass Pro Shops parking lot, yell “I’m single, horny, and I’ve got a six-pack of Rolling Rock and a 10% off coupon for Applebees” and watch them descend on you like rats.
